What Is Wiid?
A Nintendo DS Emulator for the Wii game console, with a GUI powered by libwiigui. The emulator uses DeSmuME 0.9.5's core files in conjunction with libogc and devkitppc.
Our current goal is to be able to boot DS homebrew games on the Wii. Once this is accomplished, we will begin support for commercial DS games.
We are all well aware of the thousands of pirates out there, We do not plan to support piracy! With that being said, please do not complain about your favorite downloaded DS games not working on our emulator.
r65 & 66
- Some "spring cleanup". (Is it even spring yet? lol)
- Added some options that were missing previously. Haven't tested them yet (sister stole my Wii again), but they should work fine.
I tried a few roms and they wouldn't load, maybe just homebrew works right now. Also, the emulator wanted to keep updating, just click on ignore. And, it looks like you are going to have to create some folders for roms and save games, just look in the settings to see where to create the folders. You may need a classic controller to play the games (because of the 12 buttons, and tap, that the DS uses), but the Wiimote does work on the GUI.
I still couldn't get roms to boot.
Make sure your app folder is named WiiDS, because the auto update looks to put the update in WiiDS. So the folder that you download and drag to your SD card apps folder needs to be named WiiDS.
Other folders you may want to create are ROMS, COVERS, SAVES.
