Guys i need some advise...
i have recently has an issue with a remote not willing to sync except if you manually try to do it in the home/menu screen. when i try to do by pressing the red button the other remote has the same issue with syncing. So the last thing i did was last year i installed Cioscorp 3.5 so i saw this tread and though i would give it a try.
So i followed the instructions on this post to the letter but every time i try to replace the cioscop with the new one i get the following error.
setting existing tmd to 0...
>> error! es_addtitlestart: (-1029) installed ticket/tmd is invalid
error! installer returned error code (-1)
press any key to return to the menu
so after reading the error thread i reformated the sd card, erased the saved games to make sure i had enough room (1500+ blocks) on the wii
next i search this thread and noticed another had a similar issue with the -1 error and it was noted from a post that the files could be in the wrong directory (not in the root) so i checked to make sure.
so when this didnt work i tried to use the old uninstaller for cioscorp for 3.5, 3.6, and 4.0. all are returning the same -1 error.
Then after searching the forums some more the only other answer i can find is corrupt ios38. so i updated ios38 to 20b and had no problems installing this?
but i am out of ideals? any suggestion would be apprishated. and i am not opposed to reinstalling 4.1 and redoing everything if we can do this. but with cioscorp using 65555 i didnt know if this would allow the lower number to install over these?
I could really use some help with this strange behavior:
1. Finally ran syscheck, it starts ok but the green bar gets stuck (image) and the .csv only shows the following:
sysCheck v1.6.1 by Erik Spyder
The system menu v449 is running under IOS61 (rev 5661) Hollywood v0x21
Console ID: 1287XXXXX
Found 72 titles
Found 36 IOS on this console
Found 5 IOS Stubs on this console
After that, I have to shut down and power up the wii again.
2. In the HBC, when asked to update, I agreed to update, the update downloads and runs, but the screen hangs on the "Spam" message and the "Press 1 to continue" message never appears. the same happens when trying to run the hackmii installer from bootmii launching from Hackmii
3. Ran DOP Mii's "Scan the Wii's Internals (Syscheck)" and it hung checking IOS 31, these are the images:
This is acceptable for your console since you are running system menu 4.1. As always (standard warning) never attempt to downgrade to 3.2 after following the instructions above.
2. It does take some time for the Press 1 message to appear. Give it another moment or two.
In dop-mii you can delet ios30 and install ios60 into the ios30 slot, this would prevent the stubbed ios30 and still support 3.2 (on all wiis) if needed.
News to me. Thanks maui, I'm sure Armaggoth and others will appreciate knowing that. I know I do.
hello sir! im using wii 3.4u with hbc and cioscorp installed.. can i proceed with dogeggs upgrade so to install system 4.1 and priiloader then proceed with your uninstallation guide?

You would want to uninstall CIOScorp first, then upgrade to 4.1 afterwords. If you upgrade now you may result in a brick. I would remove it regardless, even if you weren't going to upgrade.
And, I would just uninstall and leave it be, There were no useful features of 4.1(4.2 added SD menu, but that wasn't too useful for me, only useful for bannerbomb, which worked in older menus anyway).
