im in canada to i got the scrubbed version of netflix from net and i'm having issues. It loads up fine but that gives an error saying "this device is not supported in your area" how do i get around this?
The version floating out the net is of the USA but it give a website netflix.ca/NRD which is canadian buy i cannot figure out why it would not work.
It is kind of a gray area with Netflix but it was decided that since you don't own the rights to Netflix it is still considered piracy to download it(even though it is free) and there for we can not assist you. Sorry.
You can call Netflix or login to their site and request one and they will ship you one at no charge.
1. We dont support Downloaded ISO's (so sry no suport)
2. Here is the Website for the Canadian Branch of Netflix ((Netflix: Rent as many movies as you want for only $8.99 a month! Free Trial))
3. If and when they send you the disk and you still have the problem please let us know.....
yes i should have known better then to discuss about that. I have ordered my disk and its been a week so i can't say when it will get to me, which is the reason why i use the internet for you know ... hopefully it arrives tuesday and i will inform you guys if i have issues.
I just received my Netflix Wii disc. Before I do anything I searched this site but have been unable to find out if I can do the following. If I missed something in my search I am sorry.
My Wii is 4.2U and softmodded. I have Priiloader set to stop any updates. I plan to do the following:
1. Launch USB Loader GX.
2. Click on the install game icon.
3. When it asks, put the Netflix disc in the drive and copy it to my WBFS formatted HDD.
4. Launch it using either a USB loader or installing it as a channel and launching it that way.
Will I run into any problems doing it this way? If so what might they be? Is it correct that using USB Loader GX to copy the disc to my HDD will remove the update part of the disc as it does to my games?
If this is not a good way please tell me how I should do it. I want to be able to put the disc away and forget about it. I also don't want to worry about Netflix updating my console.
I'm guessing you didn't bother to read post #1, page 1 on this thread.
Edit: either that or simply seeking confirmation? You're not really clear on which is the case...
i updated POST #1
should be simple now.....
I did read it but it wasn't as clear to me as it is now that emuhack updated it. I really should have said that in my original post.

Finally got my disk yesterday and was up and running in seconds.
I would like to share a Netflix Channel Forwarder that boots of the SD card using CFG. With this you see a channel on the Wii Menu and it boots CFG Loader (NO GUI, NO USB HDD, No Selecting, Just boots right into Netflix)
If you have CFG Loader r60 already (archive has r56) just copy the WAD channel on to you SD card and install with WAD Manager. Create a wbfs folder on the ROOT of the SD card and place your netflix wbfs file into it wbfs folder.
You must know how to backup the netflix disk as a wbfs file (you can extract it from a WBFS partition using Wii Game Manager) before this will work.
This is very useful for me as the HDD is not always in my Wii and i leave the SD card in like we all do so this way i can still use netflix without the need of a USB HDD or a DISK. Truely the best option i would say.
Netflix SD Channel.rar
Rename the file as "SNTEXN.wbfs" without quotes in the wbfs folder after you back it up.
There is a Netflix channel available throught the wii shop channel now. Just happened to click on there today and see it. Downloaded and all is good.
