"IOS60: Using 6400 to downgrade to 6174"
Getting IOS60 rev. 6400 went okay.
Getting IOS60 revision 6174 went okay until:
"Checking hashes...Wrong hash value for content #13
Error reading IOS into memory
ERROR: Something failed (ret:-1)
Are you sure you want to continue?"
Haha, crap I don't know, do I?
OK, you can try again. If it fails again, install ios70 with patches, then install sm4.2

When I try to use ios249 in dop-ios-mod, it dumps again on loading ios249. Any words of wisdom? This is getting intense. Thanks for the help though!
Your wii is working against you.
Try to use dop-ios-mod with ios36, install ios70 with patches and sm4.2 or try it with ios250.
or use wadmanager
install IOS70-64-v6687 [Patched][FreeTheBug].zip
Use ios249 or ios250 or ios36
Ok, I got IOS70patched and SM4.2 installed via IOS36. Got rid of stubs. Deleted unknown title using deleteanytitle. Should I still delete ios20 ios30 and ios50 now that I'm on sm4.2? Do I need to install priiloader again?
Yes, if you are one 4.2 you can delete ios20, 30, 50, and 60. Is your system menu booting?
I deleted IOS20,30,50, and 60. I still have the same problem though. It freezes on the Health and Safety screen.
It is a good time to make another nand backup.
Can you enter the system menu holding + and - at the health screen then push A a few times while holding?
We are running out of options, we may need to format.
I can't enter using + / - and pressing A like fiend. I've been trying for a couple days now.
I'm backing up now. At this point a format sounds like a good thing unless you can think of something else. I don't know how to format though >< Is there a guide?
the backup is done. there are 3 bad blocks.
