Well I figured this out. Bad WAD apparently. However still no luck playing burned DVD gamecube games.

Or is perhaps some of the "mod" is being bypassed because the game is a retail GC game?
Again I am not running this game from the Wii's Disc channel. I am launching HBC, launching either Neogamma or GC backup launcher and then inserting the disc and voila!
With the 4 different GC burned dvds, still same issue - either reboots the Wii or it'll partially load the Nintendo logo and hang there.
Ok so i installed everything and it all works great, but here is my problem....whenever i load a legit gamecube game from the disk channel, i get an obnoxious green screen for about five seconds and then it loads....this didnt happen before and its pretty annoying....is there any way to fix this????
Since there are multiple ways to install a cMIOS, can i do more than one way, just to be sure, or is it not recommended. If no, which is the best type of installation preferred?
I used Waninkoko's installer, it worked for me the first time, when WiiGator's wouldn't work for me way back when I first tried to install it.
Did you post the cMIOS rev 5 yet? If this question was already asked, I am sorry. I don't have enough patience to read the whole forum. Sorry.

If you need to do a wad install, use nus downloader to get the version of the MIOS you want to install, make sure to check the box "pack to wad" and place the wad on the root of your SD card.
thanks another great tut:)
During Installation, it is asking me which IOSto use during installation. Do I use IOS 249 or what?
Thanks for all your hard work.
iOS249 will work fine. As well as any iOS which has the trucha bug.
thank you very much Stomp:) works perfectly...sadly I don't have a game cube controller, but I do have a DDR dance pad controller,
so I used that installed flawlessly. Played capcom vs SNK-2
now I can't stop laughing, my jaw hurts,
