i love how every1 is so afraid to modify there system menu...and how every1 tells ppl its a horrible idea...its simple back up your nand and install priiloader!!!!!!!!!!!!! Then you have NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT!!!!!!!
We just have to keep saying it cause there is always some idiot that will come along without a nand backup or priiloader and birck his wii and cry about it in forums.
Anyone have a 4.2u tested simpsons theme or where i can find one
tested the avatar theme on a 4.1E WORKS cool theme i like the cursor and disk channel
I am in a dilemma. I clearly realize that I am not capable of installing custom themes.:(. I have a 4.2u softmodded wii with priiloader and bootmii as ios (I know i was supposed to have bootmii as boot 2, but i wanted that pirate theme.) Regardles, it seems as though I somehow generated a bad them because after making the csm file with my menu and installing it with mymenuify, I seem to have completely lost my system menu:(. I have priiloader so I can launch homebrew and go back to mymenuify, but I feel as though I am missing here. When I download the .7 menu files from this tut (for black pirate), and then go to install them with mymenuify it says "Not a theme file. Whey even retry". I have no clue what I am doing wrong. Furthermore, I dont understand how to install the basic theme (default to wii) back. I cant select the 0.0000087.7z with mymenuify as it says its not a theme. To sum it up I cant figure out how to get a theme back on my wii. I cant figure this out and any help would be greatly appreciated as I am completely at a lost. Thank You Very Much
7z is an archive file. Unzip it on your computer and you will find the .app file you need. Applicable programs are 7-zip and I believe winrar (but i'm not entirely sure, definitely 7-zip).
If you are unsuccessful another option is to reinstall your system IOS70 & system menu (in that order) through HBC.
Thank you so much. I am a mac user and I did not recognize that 7z is an archive file. I am downloading a 7z unzipper tool for mac now. Thank you very much
