bigj try installing wiiflow and setting autoboot to it. I have it on my 3&5 year old's wii and it's great. Leave a game and boots straight back to wiifow.
Thanks the only think I am not a big fan of wiiflow is the trash can option... where they can delete a game right off the hard drive with a click of a button.. tried removing it permantely but couldn't get it going, other then that wiiflow is so much more superior in my eyes.
I agree with what you are saying. That is why I have 2 wii's. One for them and one for me. My drive has all games on it, and if they delete any i just put it back on theirs. Wiiflow is missing the non delete component.
I only have the one wii but maybe I will pick up another 500g hd and have there games on that drive also as a backup, and use wiiflow. Thanks for the suggestion.
It is worth it, 500gb hd are not that dear. You need to think how much would 500gb of games really cost you?
What version are you running your wii on currenty, mines 4.1 also do you have your USB loader GX installed on your wii because mine just runs off the SD card and reads it from there.
First my wii is 4.1E.
There are three ways to install GX.
or a channel.
To use it for autoboot it needs to be installed as a forwarder. (looks like a channel on the main menu)
If you goto the GX site you can download the latest.
I have it install from the HBC aswell, but thats just for testing.
That is probably why it doesn't work. I just boot USB loader GX directly off my SD card, I prefer to install as least as possible onto my wii (Great Brick Prevention) in my eyes.. I did mention that I was booting off my SD card in a eairler post in this thread but another great member thought that wouldn't matter. I have priiloader booting right to homebrew so the only app I have is Loader GX so the kids only have one extra click which in not a big deal it is just these little things that bug me until I figure it out.
