Backup and format your sd card, then extract this to sd:\
Put that sd card in your wii, does wiimod load.
I've got a bricked wii after I update online by internet. So, I cannot get into boot2 or preloader. I think the update wiped out all.
It's my stupidity. I should never update online. I just knew it from this forum. But I'm late.
I really appreciate for your kindly guidance.
Krafter's correct in that your post though well-meaning lacks some very necessary information. He knows his stuff in terms of NAND repair/flashing/troubleshooting, probably good to respond with further clarification.
In talking to him in IRC (I directed him to post here), my understanding is his system doesn't boot, priiloader either wasn't configured or got overwritten by the update, and the system is likely not boot2 since it was shipped with menu 4.3.
@llaffer: if he's got a NAND backup and in the USA, most definitely will need Krafter's services (but you already know that, saying more to confirm for his benefit in thread).
Thanks all for your responds.
Yes, it shows a black screen. It was origin 4.3E, after softmod it used 4.1E (I live in France), HBC, boot2, preloader, bootmii.
I did followed all steps in the first post of this thread. Option #1 and #2 not work.
The manette remote is still can turn it on, but it always blinking, not sync with wii. And the wii only one flashing and scanning DVD.
What should I do next? Should It has to NAND programming?
I just ran into a problem the other day. Out of the blue I just got this black screen and I didn't change anything. It turns out that when I take my SD card out of my Wii then it loads properly, but with it in it stays black. I was able to load Priiloader by holding Reset but BootMii doesn't load. I checked out the contents of the SD card and there is no BootMii stuff on it. I also tried to find the backup NAND I made but I can't find it anywhere :(. Right now the Wii is technically still working so it's not a desperate situation, but I'm not able to run any kind of homebrew app or it just goes back to the system menu even with the SD card out since it can't load the files. If I boot without the SD card, and then insert the SD card after the Wii is on and in the system menu then I can load the homebrew apps fine. Any ideas what could be the issue?
