I did my wii and another just to show off. Then on my wii i thought i would install the usb loader. Worked great so i thought i was well clever.
Then I went into the optons and started downloading themes and then i get a black screen with a DSI error. I have rebooted and i still got it so i deleted the channel and reinstalled it and still got the same error.
So some one said i had to delete that channel and the homebrew channel so did that now i cant get the home brew channel to install again.
I still have the back up loader channel installed and working but i want to do it through the usb and save myself some disks
That made sense to you to delete the homebrew channel? What do you mean can't install it again? Can't run the hackmi installer or can't install that particular item from the hackmi installer? Did you try to do it from our softmod guides?
yes it did make sense.

Sorry real noob here although i followed your guide i dont really know what i was doing i was just doing as it said
and no i cant load that from the bootmii menu.
Im just trying to load the nand that i backed up earlier and see if that sorts it
You MUST explain "wasn't allowing me too"? Are you getting a stack dump? Is bannerbomb not working for you? are you getting the "no vulnerable IOS" problem? You need to give us as much information as you can, we have no idea what exactly you did or have done to your console, we cannot read minds.
i dont know what a stack dump, bannerbomb or IOS problem is. I need the usb loader and homebrew channels back and the bootmii menu when i choose homebrew channel i just get a plain black screen.

is anyone making anything of this?
No i kinda gave up. I tried though lol
It's a USB Loader configuration file issue, which requires a simple deletion of said configuration file. It's particularly funny as even when he restores his NAND it'll still crash out when it reaches the error as the problem is on his SD card.
I've never heard of such an extreme action to fix a silly error.
Made my day this has.
so you understood both the problem and the solution. Your iq must have 4 digits..
