• Loads most games through disc channel, very good compatibility with most games (See Reference 1 at the bottom of this post).
• Ability to run System Menu 4.2x on
region-changed Korean Wiis (no #003 error)
• mios v4 with WiiGator's GC Backup Launcher embedded.
• Waninkoko's cmios, but uses mios v4 as a base,
instead of mios v5.
• cIOS55 rev13 DIP= cIOS55 v5149 with rev13 DIP. Supports Dual Layer
How risky is it to install?
cIOSCORP v3.5 overwrites the majority of the system files (IOS)
on your Nintendo Wii with modified ones which "know" how to handle
DVD±R discs, so the installation process itself can be quite risky.
You should be fine if you just let the installer run though.
How to install it:
Unpack the contents of this .zip file to your SD card and run the
"cIOSCORP v3.5 Main Installer" application via the Homebrew Channel,
sit back, and wait a few minutes. That's it!
All System Menu IOS (11, 20, 30, 40, 50, 52, 60, and 70), along with
IOSes 35, 36, and 37, now all have the ES_Identify Patch in them.
This allows preloader compatibility, and should allow the majority
of homebrew applications to use the ES_Identify function, but due
to the way the newer IOS work, it will only allow ES_Identify to be
called once per IOS Reload.
How to uninstall it:
Fisrt of all, DON'T DELETE ANY IOS!!! YOU WILL (most likely) KILL
YOUR WII IF YOU DO!!! Rather, the IOS must be OVERWRITTEN with
official, unmodified IOS. Just download the cIOSCORP v3.5 Uninstall
package, copy it to your SD Card, and run the uninstaller via the
A compatibility list has also been included in the package. Open the
"cIOSCORP_v3.5_compatibility.html" file in your favourite web browser.

right ok i read the technical info and even tried it on a wii for a friend. just was wondering from one intelligent person to another who does and knows about softmodding. i hear alot of the negative aspects but not any of the positive, i myself am fairly neutral except to say i have no use of it unless someone in my house was incapable of using a loader besides disk channel. ok thanks for the input though.
Okay, The reason some users do not like it as it is a heavy modification I agree, but, it you have pre / prii loader Bootmii as Boot 2, a verified NAND backup, want Dual Layer support, Gamecube loading and Disc channel loading, then this is for you, comes with an un-installer as well, if you want to remove it
it doesnt matter for me to play games through disc channel , i just want to play new games and the backup launcher i have 0.3 gamma doesnt support the dl disc and SSBB freeze after first match of SSE and at end classic mode , in general it freezes during any video on disc except the intro one
so i can install rev 14 and i will notice no difference right
can anyone tell me the problems of rev 15 , i saw that they fixed the DL support but some people say it has some bugs
you dont understand me , i read this changes
i mean the people tried it is it good or not because some people say it has some bugs
and i know it doesnt work with MTP and work perfectly with SSBB
if it doesnt have any problems can i install it instead of rev14 and play new games beside SSBB
It does have some compatibility problems and most people here are sticking with rev 14.
the last thing
i will install cios rev14 and this will run the new games and SSBB will freeze in SSE and classic mode and after intro mode right
i can run NSMB too right
i will install neo gamma R7 . cios rev14 and cios53 trucha using wad manager and of course i want to install wad manager first and i have all those programs on my SD but i want the steps
i want from anyone to answer first question and tell the steps installing those programs
