maybe consider that he has spent months working on the fix, sometimes losing hours of sleep thinking about ideas and writing code. and there are vultures that have/will be buying up bricked wiis for cheap and fixing them and selling them left and right for huge profit.
btw, look at the name of the person that created that video and the name of the person writing this post
Hey guys i heard that the new wasabi DX chip is able to autoboot ssbb. I am ordering one but it wont arrive till like 2 weeks LOL. If someone already has a wasabi dx chip they can try using it to boot ssbb and run the smash stack exploit to fix their wii? maybe try it in combination with savemii??
Are you sure? you cant just run the smash stack exploit as if you did it from the wii menu?
So if any newer modchip that can load SSBB then it will save a lot of time for people who wants to fix 003 and this might be the only way that is 100% workable unlike the methods that Mauifrog has suggested to inject the cIOS using channel method where you need to have installed CIOSCORP before the Wii brick. So is more random. IMHO.Quote:
Smash Stack works by exploiting the way Super Smash Bros. Brawl loads stages. It is different from the Twilight Hack and Indiana Pwns exploits in the way it is loaded. Twilight Hack and Indiana Pwns exploit the save files of their respective games to execute a stack smash and load custom code. Super Smash Bros. Brawl's stage loader loads from the SD card and not from a save file on the Wii itself. Since the exploit is loaded from SD, it completely bypasses the System Menu, making it difficult for Nintendo to patch.
Thats EXACTLY what i was thinking lol. This is the link to the wasabi website: Wasabi Wii Modchip - Compatible with DMS, D2A, D2B, D2C, D2C2, D2E - Upgradable from DVD - Simply the best

I havent ordered it yet but where do you see this i cant find it anywhere on the first page?
The home page is the updates page? are you sure your not referring to an older model of the chip?
I think you are getting off topic ST4R PL4YA. As far as I know, you don't have a Korean Wii with a 003 error. You have a semi-brick as you stated in your other thread.
