this part of ur guide is confusing and not very specific
1. The first step in this process is to get a NAND dump of your Wii. This is accomplished using the Homebrew application SimpleFSDumper.
2. Download the file from the links above.
3. Place the .dol file in a separate folder in the apps directory on your SD card (I named the folder SFSD). Being the confusing part
i cant even get sFSdumper to show up in homebrew... given i have not done anything to my wii in a while so could most likely be my fault but could u please write this more clearly?
You can, but I haven't tested it yet myself. I recall you need a Fat32 partition and you will want to select USB-NAND from the triiforce menu or use the auto usb loading .dol.
dutycall: I actually tested Tetris party on mine the other day and it worked, but swords & soldiers won't load, it actually freezes. Triiforce is not foolproof. There is actually a game compatibility list on the net, but it's fairly short. Just google "triiforce game compatibility" and it's the first thing that comes up.
lilrich: what you need to do is create a folder in the apps folder on your sd card. What I did was I named the folder SFSD. So when you open the apps folder on your sd card you should have a folder named SFSD in it and inside that should be the simpleFSDumper files from the download link provided in the guide.
I cannot get the FSDumper to show up in the homebrew channel. I extracted the contents of the SFSD0.2.zip archive to the root of my SD and created a new folder in the APPS directory called SFDSD where I put the .dol file. Was I supposed to rename something? What am I doing wrong?
4.2 Sys Menu
Sorry, its a plain SD card, not sdhc.
Rename the "SimpleFSDumper0.2.dol" file to "boot.dol".
I updated the guide to make this more clear :)
thanks a lot, it finally worked.
sorry to bother you again.

Hi duty. I tried some of those games on mine and they were able to run. There are some games that won't run still, so I'm not too sure what affects compatibility. Looking at that compatibility list, it says that Lostwinds and the sequel do not work, but they ran fine on my Wii. It's hard to diagnose a problem when I can't recreate the event or have never experienced it myself.
I recall a game doing this to me as well in the past, but I think it was when I was trying to do the Trucha bug fix when it wasn't applicable to my system as I was on 4.2. Since I did the proper hack guide with cios rev 14 and the IOS 249 stub, I haven't had anything boot me out to the menu.
The only thing I can think of now is to maybe try some other games or get a different WAD of the game you were trying to play (did you try Tetris Party on your wii before trying it from the SD-NAND?)
yes I did try Tetris Party on my wii, and it worked fine. It just would not work on triiforce.
I did Trucha bug fix on 3.2U as well
thank you for the help anyway!~
