For some reason, I couldn't get BannerBomb to load, but Smash Stack worked the first time I tried. Also, I wanted to go with WiiFlow instead of USB Loader GX from your hack pack and I installed MPlayer CE instead of NeoGamma (if NeoGamma can do something that MPlayer CE can't, lmk. I don't really need another DVD player.)
I also haven't installed any WAD's yet (nor run WAD Manager). I haven't decided what all I want to have on the Wii, but I know a WiiFlow Channel will be in the future.
fair enough... seems that you are the first noob with non noobness! that is pleasant! also it is nice ot see that such a new member gives good piece of advice to ppl!
lol, thanks. I suppose it's a way to give back to the people who helped! :) (That and I am a forum whore)
any chance my wii will get bricked? sorry for the newbie questions.
There is some inherent risk involved. I would recommend figuring out what system version you have first from the Wii settings and then following the appropriate guide in the tutorials section for soft modding your Wii.
Also, if you install BootMii and are able to install it as a boot2, I HIGHLY recommend creating a NAND backup immediately. If you can install as boot2 and have the backup, you are about 99% brick-proof (you can still brick it, but you will be able to restore it!)
well, very slight chance for a boot2... but following the guides exactly you have zero possibility of a brick. doing whatever comes to your head, may brick you tho
