Thank you for ur reply. This is my goal as someone in this thread has already accomplished it.
Partition 1: 650 gig wbfs (Will contain A-L wii games)
Partition 2: 650 gig wbfs (Will contain M-Z wii games)
Partition 3: 100 gig fat32 (wad and stuff)
How would I set partition 2 to allow wfbs to see it if partition 1 is the only one active?
All partitions are set to primary, however only partition 1 is set to active. The others are set to none.
Any help is appreciated. Thank u again.
Currently i have my USB harddrive set up with:
1 wbfs partition (primary)
1 fat32 partition (primary/active)
I found by having the fat32 "active" i can load apps and wads from the harddrive
Thank u for ur reply and help. I will try it tonight after my hard drive finish partitioning...
I've tried doing this and believe I've followed the guide correctly but haven't had any luck getting it to work on my WD 500GB HDD. This is what it looks like (drives: I & K).
I've tried swapping the active from drive I to K and still didn't work. End result is black screen and Wii restarts. I can however burn the same iso I put on the drive to dvd and install it to the hdd via USB Loader GX and it'll work. All setting are fine, given game will work as it should if installing from dvd like I mentioned.
Any ideas or see something on the partitioning that is incorrect?
This is what I have as my setup... and it doesnt work with gx loader...http://img63.imageshack.us/img63/691/wwii.jpg
It's been awhile since I've looked at this but are those unformatted sections in WBFS?
yea opened it in wbfs manager formated both and loaded 10 games each to test
