Preloader needs re-installing after updates.
Better to try savemiifrii trick with GC controller. It can work with some bricks but not if you've broken the system menu.
Did your Wii reach 4.0U naturally i.e. 3.1 to 3.2 to 3.3 to 3.4 to 4.0 etc or did you downgrade back from 4.0 to 3.2 at any time?
well i'm another one added to the list... it was also a wii sport resort that had bricked me, exact same problem, get the black screen when turn on wii.. i even completely taken apart the wii in hopes it was the bluetooth module that broke down (was a long shot since it bricked right after the update so little chance it's that concidental but i had to try something...) as with all the other guys i have no preloader on it.. didnt even know there was a preloader till this thing happened... then i found out about it when trying to find a solution to it.. anyways i've almost given up and just want to go out and buy a new wii completely but just wondering if anyone else have been able to fix this problem without using a preloader since i cant get that installed now with it being bricked and all.. i've tried quite a few auto boot discs but it all seems pretty pointless without preloader. o yes and my wii does have a mod chip in it so am able to read the discs. i dont have savemii so am unable to try that. if anyone have been able to unbrick theirs with savemii or anything else i would appericate to know about it. just really want to know if this thing is just a brick now or if salvage-able..
savemiifrii is a gamecube controller modded to press up, down, left and right and replicates what the savemii does. Wether it'll rescue your brick depends on what you did before updating with WSR. Search for savemiifrii, there's some videos on youtube showing how it works.
