I have done a quick search on the site but can't find an answer to my recent wiimote problem.
I have followed EoC hack and been using my Wii for the past few weeks without any problems. I recently downloaded some WiiWare and Virtual COnsole games from the newsgroups and put them on my Wii. 2 of them failed to launch after installing so I deleted the channels. Now my console will not hold the synchrozation with the wiimotes.
I have unpluged the console and removed the batteries for 5 mins, pulged the console back in and on the health screen held the synch button down for 15 seconds. After I do this I can re-connect the wiimote to the console, but after a few mins it loses connection again.
The batteries in the wiimote are new, I am not sure if there is anything else I can try??
Thanks in advance.
Just a quick update, I have been playing about with the Wii and found a trend happening. Once I launch a channel on the Wii the reomte loses synch again, and it will not connect back up again.
Anyone got any sugestions?
Problem sorted, no thanks to anyone from here.
Sorry you didn't find the help you needed on here. Would you care to share how you did end up fixing your issue so others won't run into the same dilemma that you did?
I would hazard a guess that he was trying to play games that required the use of a gamecube controller and not the wiimote ;)
This is a forum, if no one has experianced the problem yet and asked a question like yourself then iufortunetally you may not find the answer your looking for.Wii Hacks, Wii Hacking, Mod Chips Friend Code Sharing and Nintendo Community I am just new to the wii scene as a whole, but if I were in your shoes I wouldnt be sitting on 4 posts (3 in this thread) saying thanks for nothing. You only get out of forums what is put in my yourself and other forum users. My guess might be you have some sort of RF interference from cells phones to microwaves etc

Id also suggest syncing all ur remotes at this stage incase for some reason they are trying to take over each others address's etc n forcing the loss of synchronisation. After this is trial and error and id be trying other remotes....
i wouldnt be suprised if rossy guessed correctly. :D
hehehe, yes thats a possibility.
