Mystery of No Longer Made/Available Cedar Wood Chips for the Yard
Back when my first born was around 2 to 3 yrs old, I bought a bunch of bags of Cedar wood chips for a lawn/yard project. As with any wood chips, as time progresses eventually you need to replenish them (considering my first born is 10 going on 11 now). I cannot find them. Every where I go the employees act baffled at my request. "We got cedar MULCH, or PINE chips" is the best response I get. This includes Lowe's, Home Depot, Southern States, 84 Lumber, you name it.
I am at a loss as to why these have (apparently) been "done away with." I got a 6x12' section of yard that needs reinforcements so to speak, and I lack the ability to find these things. Anybody here who does landscaping, gardening, projects, etc that would be able to shed light on why they appear no longer made? I like cedar because it (unlike other woods) repels termites, etc (which is why I sure as hell wouldn't want to use pine... being this would physically touch the house at its closest point).
