Because I tried to install some wadmanager1.7 but it didn't work to install.
So I use the regular wadmanager to install DM but I got a message "1 didn't work" what should I do?
Make sure you using IOS236 and you're trying to install the wad.
Save me some time, can someone link me over or tell me. I have about 50+ GC CDs and looking to put them on the HDD. My HDD is formatted as WBFS completly. Do I need to redo the partition for a fat setup? I just want to RIP the games and run them off the HDD. I love the space saving with not having cases everywhere.
You must reformat your HDD to FAT32 with 32kb clusters, that's the only way GC games will load. You can continue to have all your Wii Roms stored as .wbfs even if your drive is FAT32 so no need to re-rip all the Wii game, just change the program you use to load Wii games to Wii Backup Manager. As for putting GC games on the HDD, you can do a simple drag & drop/copy & paste.Quote:

Now the GC game is found. But when trying to start the game it says that the Dios Mios is not installed. But I have installed it and used ISO236.
One strange this is when looking in credits it says that USB loader GX is Rev1200 IOS222 (rev4) Should it say V3?
I have now downladed USBLoaderGX_v3.0_IOS249.dol Should I maybe replace this?
Make sure you use the dol from the iOS 249 version and that you have DIOS MIOS 2.1 or higher.Quote:

if you use wbfs2fat you will have to check your cluster size, sometimes its FAT32 with 64KB cluster size
"Most applications that format drives automatically set it to 64kb, even if you tell it to do 32kb. A simple double check will make sure it's right."
guide-fat32.html for everything, GC games, WII games, and HB stuff
Acronis Disk Director 11 Advanced to check: right click your disk/change cluster size/current cluster size:
I use Acronis Disk Director 11 Advanced to check my hard drive cluster size and it was 64KB so I change it to 32KB and I did not lose any data and it is very quick.
I had USB GX V2.5 and just replaced the old .dol with dol from IOS249 but cant find what version it was.
Maybe I should download latest USB loader instead of replacing .dol?
If yes then should I first delete the old USB loader? Or just install the new one?
