If you make this fix, the USB loader should be able to find it.
If not, which version of DM are you using along with what version of whatever USB Loader you are trying to get this working on?
But, now I am encountering the issue were the gamecube controller won't work. So I loaded my original gamecube game as advised and the controller won't work either for the official license. o_O
I am running the following. Dios Mios Ver. 2.10 and WiiFlow 4.3M also tried USBLoader GX V.3.0
The controller was working with official games and works with N64 Games that I have purchased in the store so the controller isn't faulty.
I'm going to fish the web for solutions but any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. I also appreciate all the assistance thus far.
That's strange. I can't think of any reason for the controllers to work in VC games but not in GameCube games.
Official Nintendo controller, or some after-market version?
Will give this a shot and let you guys know
Finding Wavebirds are not cheap. o_O
Alright. Once I re-do the DIOS MIOS I will let everyone know how it goes.
My games go right to an infite black screen as soon as I start them.
I have my NGC games on a Fat32 partition and my Wii games on a WBFS partition. The Fat32 partition is the first partition on the drive.
These are the only settings I changed from default.
Hard Drive Settings:
-Game/Install Partition - WBFS (also tried with this on the Fat32 drive)
-Multiple Partitions - ON (also tried with this off)
-GC Install Compressed - ON (also tried with this off)
-GC Install 32K Aligned - ON (also tried with this off)
-Main Gamecube Path - usb1 :/Gamecube (correct path for me)
Credits of USBLoaderGX show DIOS.MIOS v2.10+ , Rev 1218 IOS 249, d2x v8final base 56.
I used DMToolBox to put them on partion 1 of my usb drive, they show up in the loader, they just don't load. Everything with 32k is correct. I also tried R1213 of USB Loader (before upgrading to this one to try to fix the problem) and was having the save issue.
Not sure where I went wrong.
were you went wrong was when you thought you would be cute and go off defaultQuote:

Ehh figured it out, my two patriot flashdrives work, but the hdd does not. Guess its just the harddrive, thanks anyway.
Also it totally works with the folder name NOT "games", work just fine with my flash drive as "Gamecube ISOs".
