Ah ok, glad you got it sorted out. So the compatibility for 2.6 has lost a few games then? That sucks, but can 2.4 use disc swapping? Maybe try 2.5 as middle ground cause I think 2.5 may have disc swapping as well. That way you won't sacrifice your ability to play games like Tales of Symphonia (awesome game by the way, can't believe I over looked it when GC was a new console) via USB.Quote:

I stand corrected, I thought it was introduced in 2.5.Quote:

Hi guys, I just wanted to know if there's any possible way that I can play GameCube backup games on a new black Wii from 2012. As you know, it isnt a backwards compatible Wii (Wii with gamecube controller ports at the top). But is there some way that I can play them with a Wii classic pro controller or is there any other known workaround ??
I really appreciate your attention and help folks :)
you could solder the gamecube port in yourself
Humm, soldering isn't really my sort of thing :/ And besides, I didn't really wanted to open my console. Isn't there any other solution?
Until Devolution gets support ( and if it does ) for Classic Controllers, no there isn't, soldering in the GC ports would be your only option.
You'll have to wait till tuedj adds Classic Con support to Devolution.Quote:
