So, my dusty old wii is now fully updated lol. Even running ios58 and re installed HBC. (MMM is a lot easier than the old days)
I can confirm every different way for my HDD. (I got the drive to work in windows again)
Formated as wbfs, have to unplug and plug the hdd back in to get the loaders to see it
Same for NTFS, and same for FAT32. But once the loaders see my HDD, I can load any game I want and it will play just fine.
USB Loader GX 222 loads fine until I try to load any game. Just blacks out and freezes. ( I think it's still switching back to ios248 or 249 or its a problem with the disk not spinning up fast enough like the loader wants)
I have come to the conlusion that it is my HDD: Toshiba Canvio Plus 500gb 3.0/2.0
It only makes sense.
Me unplugging and plugging back in the drive makes the hd spin up a little faster; thus the loaders see it.
But remember: uLoader works fine under wbfs....but uLoader isn't pretty.
On top of all this, which was a late night, I find out the wii motion plus controller I bought is not compatible with homebrew...:026: Time to visit one of society's nasty pit....the pawn shop. lol
so like i said before im a real newb but it sounds like yur hd is falling asleep. did you use the guide about it posted earlier in this thread?

Yeah I tried that... still no luck

At least my wii is updated.
Bought a new hdd and it fires right up.
I know it had something to do with the hdd sleeping, or maybe an halfassed sleep lol.
For the wii motion controller, I took it back and bought the blue one. Works fine.
I read this somewhere on wiihacks.
Thanks everyone for your help and contributions!!!!!
..... wiihacks is like xboxscene for the wii...lol. I remember those days. Those were the good days. That scene used to be SOOOO strong.
That damn xbox could do everything. STILL haven't found anything nearly as good as XBMC.
