Why? If I want to go on the web, my laptop works just fine. If I'm out and about and need to google something, normal mobile web is fine, I don't need 3G or w/e

Games? That's why I have a DS, PSP, etc.

Music? I have my Zune I take with me pretty much everywhere.

A normal phone would also suffice for pictures, etc.

.....I'd still LIKE an iphone, but the price of the phone combined with the price of the service just doesn't cut it for me.

why? cos you can have your games, web, music and movies in one device that is easy to carry everywhere. if you dont like the price, get an ipod touch. theyre just as good, just without the 3g and the camera and the text/phoneing.

Actually theta, you can now make phone calls from your 2nd Gen iPod Touch with iCall (originally for iPhone but works with headphones that have built in mics)

I prefer a iPod Touch over an iPhone anyday and if i had a choice between my Nokia 5320 Xpress Music and an iPhone, i'd take my Nokia. There durable and easier to fit in your pocket (there so durable i've seen people take a Nokia and throw across a parking lot and pick it back up in one piece.

I could use my psp with skype if I wanted to make house calls. Like I said, an iPhone would be nice to have, but the cost/performance ratio can't be justified in my book.

All I need is a phone that can text, call 911, and take pictures

Overall iPhones aren't that good, maybe an ipod touch might be worth it but i could never see an iPhone being worth it.

btw when i say not that good i mean performance and its cost and honestly i've had bad experiences with iPhones (launch app, press button, app freezes and phone screeches)
thing wouldnt even power off or reboot. i guess if iPhones were cheaper then i would say they were worth it and im not even sure if it was a firmware bug, it was 2.2. So I can't certainly call iPhone bad but im not going to say its worth it. But ignore the app bugs and yea i guess its ok, happy theta?
