New case - any recommendations?

Hi,

Looking to buy a new PC case which is under $100. Anyone bought a cool-looking case for less than $100?

I've got my eye on thermaltake, coolermaster and alienware cases, but if there are specific models/other good brands that i can get please let me know.

I likethe alienware cases.. but You can always make your own... a dremel, some plexi, a few fans and LED's and a little skill and your set.

Here is what my server uses. Its a great compromise between space and expandibility.

Thanks for the help guys - I wasn't really thinking of a server case as that is more of a box shape. Any other cases that are the rectangle shape?

But Blu, I still think your cases is fantastic :D

@Shift_Lock did you make a case yourself? If you did, what were your experiences (was it hard, was it worth it etc)?

Once again, thanks for the help...might be starting a thread on what type of PC to build soon (mini ITX vs Normal PC vs server etc)

I had a buddy help me who makes his own.

I thought it was worth it.. It has what I want in it and looks pretty good.. Nothing over the top though. I have a spare tower at home in my garage I've been thinking about updating and selling.. Just dont have the time.. :p

I know this is an old post, but check out the NZXT Tempest EVO case, it's freaking amazing. But by now you probably already have one.
