Yes install all wads with ios236 or 36. Or use MMM reload to 236/36 and batch install them
Sent from my iPod touch using WiiHacks
Do I need to do this if I've followed the 'Softmod Any Wii' guide? Yes/No
Quality is never an accident, it is always the result of intelligent effort.
I know this may not be the section for it but I don't know what to do anymore and as i've searched all over the net to no avail.
ok... I installed the latest d2x v.6 successfully by batch installing all the wads as the guide stated. Afterwards i loaded USB LOADER GX which always worked with no problems, i change the IOS to 236 on LOADER SETTINGS as all these tutorials point to me to use ios 236 as it's supposedly more compatible with games and now when i try loading USB LOADER GX not only does the program not load to it's menu but it can't find my flash drive which use to work! It just counts down while waiting for HDD then it takes me back to Homebrew channel. Do I have to batch install all those wads with ios 236 or 36 loaded on MMM? cause i think i had ios 58 loaded by default. How can i get back in USB LOADER GX to change the IOS back to 249? Please help.
Used your guide and reinstalled d2x cios v7 properly through MMM using wads. Still get the same issue... "Waiting for HDD" and counts down to 0. then it says in a window "Error ! USB DEVICE NOT FOUND" @_@ Any more suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!
Ok I solved the problem. I can get in now. All i had to do was delete the USBLOADER_GX folder out of my SD card from the apps folder, downloaded another ios249 USB loader gx and replaced it in the apps folder and now the IOS loader setting is back to 249 the way it should be. It seems that changing the Loader settings IOS to another number causes the program to not be able to read your USB drives.
Dont change it back to 236. 236 is only used for installing wads, not for playing games. The cIOS you can use for games are 222-224 (if you have them installed) and all the d2x cIOS that you just installed. 249 is going to give you the best compatibility. Occasionally a game may require a diferent cIOS, but you should change that in the individual game settings, not the global settings.
