Hey guys, I'm trying to return my wii to full virgin (or whatever) so that I can play my regular gamecube games again (was using DIOS MIOS and it kept crashing them). I'm at step 3b right now and everything looks good except:

IOS246[38] (rev 21008, Info:d2x-v8final): Trucha Bus, ES Identify, NAND Access

when I try to delete the IOS in MMM nothing happens though! As in, I press the (-) button, then once I press the (A) button it returns me back to the IOS select screen with no error/message at all :/

Thanks so much for you help!! This website has been a lifesaver! haha

If Gamecube games was your goal, you only needed to reinstall the v10 of MIOS vs. blowing up the entire mod. RVL-cMIOS-v65535(v10)_WiiGator_WiiPower_v0.2.rar

Thanks for the quick reply! My goal was to play my gamecube games off of backups from my harddrive (laziness mostly haha). But then most of the time, the games wouldn't start and then games that I just the disc inserted to play (if they started at all) wouldn't save to my memory card or would crash within seconds.

So if I understand you correctly, I just need to reinstall my DIOS MIOS (use WAD manager to install that file)? Currently in my syscheck it says MIOS v10 (i would upload the whole thing but for some reason it says the application is deprecated...).

At this point, I think I would rather go back to stock wii...I just need stability and I wasn't able to achieve that :/

For some reason my previous reply didn't go through (I may be missing something...) but basically I was asking if all I need to do then (since I'm already to step 3b) is just install that WAD using the MMM WAD manager?

I just need something really stable so I can throw in my gamecube or wii games and play them instantly without having to worry about things not saving or crashing (probably should've researched a bit before the whole process I realize...hindsight is a bitch haha).

I was also able to get my current syscheck:

    Spoiler

Due to your low post count, your initial post was auto-moderated (due to link, but simply where you quoted llaffer). I have both approved and merged your last two posts, along with including a spoiler around your SysCheck report. All your cIOS are gone, except for 246.

Err, what? Any IOS 200 and above is a cIOS. Your last statement doesn't even make sense. Here's a simple question for you: why are you following this guide? By that question, I mean for what purpose/bottom line? I ask as you then mention rehacking the Wii (which is NOT what this guide is for).

sorry my english not very good ok first of i hacked my wii to play copied games i have no use for my wii anymore i want to sell it so im using this guide to virgin my wii
now the part where it says

BE SURE YOU ONLY REMOVE IOS 200+ AND 70, 80, 90, 150 (if present) OR YOU MAY BRICK!
    4. Select any IOS 200+ and 70, 80, 90, 150 (if present) then press the - button on it after that, press A to confirm.

    i only deleted 200 70 80 90 150 was i suppose to delete anymore?
i have finished the hole guide already to the end im guessing i was suppose to delete everything over 200?

so to start this guide again do i rehack my wii then follow this guide to virginize it
or i dont have to hack the wii again just follow this guide ?

reason im saying this cause ive finished this hole guide on removing all the hacks and everything so where do i go from there rehack then follow this guide or just follow this guide?

Yes. you should delete everything between 200 and 250.

I've never tried to un-mod a system, so I can't answer your other questions, but in general, I would think if you want to un-mod your system, remodding it is the last thing that you want to do. If it's similar to modding a system, where we tell people to "mod over on top of whatever state it currently is in", I would think un-modding it would be the same "do these steps on top of whatever state it's in". while an un-mod is actually re-modding it, just replacing it with original IOS files instead of modded ones, then cleaning up small things like channels, etc. when done.

If you have doubts on what state your system is in, post a syscheck. (direcctions on how to create and post one are in my sig.)
