Thanks for the advice guys. One question though: After using an exploit, do I then follow ALL the steps in this guide again?

I'm selling the console to a shop and they will test it before buying.

No, just install the HBC and then finish this guide. Yeah, if the shop doesn't take hacked Wiis, it's either remove the softmod or sell it somewhere else.

First of all, thank you for this tutorial!

This is my last system check. I can't seem to get it right:

    Spoiler

I've tried several methods described to remove cioscorp/darkcorp (do I even have it?)
And in step 3 I keep clicking to remove IOS numbers, but they won't go away.
I'm afraid to go further. What did I do wrong and what can I do now?

(I'm sorry if my English is not what it should be, I'm Dutch).

    Thank you!

i'm trying to update my wii to 4.3, now i have 4.2, i got to the spot to install ios 60, but it fails, now do i continue loading the 4.1 or will it brick?

(4.Select the IOS 60 WAD and press "A" on it and wait for it to install (FAILS)
-If IOS 60 gives you an error when you try to install it, make sure you did step 1. (STUCK HERE)
    5. Now go to the System Menu WAD and click "A" on it.

i have updated 2 wii's for co-workers + my own, they had version 4.1 and 4.2 this is the 4th, but its not letting me install the 60 file. and i won't want to brick it , since I'm doing this for free. i don't want to remove the entire softmod, its the priiloader that won't let me update, even when you disable all the blocking feature's, it still blocks the wii system online update. the reason is because even thou you softmod a wii on a older version, when you buy a newer game to play, its won't let you play it normally, because of the 4.2 or earlier software. wants to upgrade, but its blocked

ok here is what i did today
went to mmm and installed 36> ok
    tried 60 again> failed
went out to mmm and changed the Load another IOS - changed to 249
    tried 60 again> worked
    now, before i load the 4.1, which IOS should i be on prior 36 / 60 / or 249 ???

    Please use the Edit function.

You know that all you have to do is update all your Ios to play the games that need 4.3 right? Removing the mod is more risky than simply updating the mod imo.

Sent with WiiHacks app, that should explain any typos 8-p

After reading most of them I think that it is better just reistalling or updating the software and and required ios or cios for In someones wii is not woking correctly.

In my case in 4.3, I Get random errors in WiiMC version 1.2.2 and I'm thinking to reinstall and not remove any of them ...

What do you think? Is this a right decision?
