Also, correct me if I'm wrong, but anytitle deleter can delete anything-including the disk channel and other official channels, therefore I don't want people to mess up an official channel and then cry to me that they don't know how to fix it.
That sounds reasonable. And yes, it can. BUT the system channels (like the disk channel) are in a different section than the installed channels (like the HBC). Also, they have the name of the channel listed and it marks them if they are fakesigned, so it's easy to tell which channels you need to remove and which ones to leave alone. Again, though, I see your reasoning.

I tried loading any title deleter once with my patched SM version, and it didn't like that so i could never really see the interface, I have plans to update this to have it remove darkcorp, so that may be in my next update, ill look into it.

!!!!At this step, DO NOT Remove HBC or the turds will hit the fans!!!!
    1. Hit the circle in the bottom corner and go into Data Management.
2.Then click on the channels bubble.
    3.Find any unoffical channel.
    4.Click on it.
5.Press on the "Erase" bubble to remove them.
-Rinse and repeat for every unofficial channel.
Ok, so what are the consequences of deleting the homebrew channel at this point? Is there anyway to fix it? I know it was a very stupid mistake.

FAIL! Re-installing the HBC (via an exploit or through BootMii if you can still access it) and then finishing the guide would do it). Why on earth are you removing your softmod anyway? That's your first fail.

Thanks for the quick reply. I am uninstalling the softmod because I want to sell my console, I hardly ever use it. Just checked and I still have the NAND backup, if that could be any use?

Any advice on exactly what I should do.. It's been a year since I have messed around with any hacking stuff on the Wii.

People have their own reason to want to remove the softmod, this guide is to make it fully removable so that another consumer of this wii will not notice it has been modified, plus make it safer for anyone who wants to do it. An example of this would be if the wii was going up for sell, some people would freak out if they found out they bought a modified wii. This place is not to ridicule people for wanting to remove the softmod, the guide states other ways to fix a broken mod instead of removing it then starting over, even though noone listens to that part, and does what they want. Hopefully they read that section and know what could happen, and that you do not need to do this everyday to fix a broken mod.

Reinstall HBC with an exploit such as bannerbomb as you should be on 4.1, or run the rest of the stuff with an exploit.

Go here and just install HBC where it states in the guide, its the most complete reference to the exploits that i know i can easily pull up. http://www.wiihacks.com/recommended-...d-any-wii.html

I'm pretty sure most people would be more happy to receive a modded Wii than a non-modded one.

Anyway, get an exploit for your system menu version (find them here). Download the HackMii Installer and run it via the exploit (the WiiBrew pages for each exploit have instructions for it's use) and install the HBC again. If you can still get to BootMii (if it's installed as boot2), you can run the bootmini.elf included with the HackMii Installer through the SD card browser of BM. Again, I would recommend just fully modding your Wii and then sell it. Whoever buys it will probably be happier.

You are insinuating on people being daily users of this forum and know what the homebrew channel does. Send your wii to your grandma who takes care of a young nephew. What do they do when something with one of the ios's stops working? Also, if i remember correctly, Ebay will NOT allow the selling of modified consoles.

Chances are anyone who would freak out if there Wii was modded probably wouldn't even realize that it was modded. Personally, if I was selling my Wii I would say that it was modded and offer to remove it if someone specifically asked for an unmoded Wii. But this is just my opinion, so take it however you like. Except for the case of eBay, I was not aware of this. But then again, how many people do we get on here who bought a modded Wii on eBay. Also, I have seen jailbroken PS3's and iPhones on eBay.
