    I knew exactly what you are talking about. A cheap knock off USB Gecko and for the third time it is not supported...YOU CAN NOT USE A USB HDD! Give me a few minutes and I'll post what you need to use a IDE drive.

    Edit: Here you go. Don't forget you will need a IDE HDD and some way to power it.

    2 Questions

    1: Do i need 2 Memory cards? A= Normal memory card(for saving games data) B= SD gecko

    2:Is there away of booting a game without a retail disc?

    1) Only if you want to save. If you just just want to play then no you only need a Gecko.

    2)If you could boot it without a retail disc don't you think I would have mentioned it? I have made it abundantly clear you need to own and use a retail disc for a reason and that reason wasn't to lie or screw with people. Besides...You shouldn't own any GC ISOs or GMCs if you don't own any retail discs.

    I have a problem: when i try to open a game from sd the progran sais "Error: Lid Open". What can I do?

    Insert a retail GC disc in your drive like my instructions tell you to do.

    Nice post but im still confused :s lol I have a fully loaded softmodded 4.3 wii system and want to back up my GC games onto my external Western Digital hard drive and load them from wiiflow or my HB channel like i do my original wii games, now does this giude allow me to do that ?
    And sry again but whats a IDE HDD?

    No. Nothing will allow you to do that unless you buy a WODE. This guide will allow you to use an IDE HDD with a special adapter to play your GC backups from a HDD or a SD Gecko to play them like the title and guide explains. It plays them through one of you GC memory ports not your USB ports.
