Just got my SD Gecko in the mail today. Got Swiss up and running on my Wii right away but haven't gotten any games to work yet.

    NTSC-U Black Wii SM 4.3U
    cMIOS rev10 base
    Swiss r33

Have tried the following with both composite and component cables in 480i/480p.

The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker (NTSC-U) - Black Screen
Star Wars Rogue Squadron II: Rogue Leader (NTSC-U) - Black Screen

Will try Starfox Adventures next and see what happens.

EDIT: Can confirm Zelda working. Things weren't working because my "toc refresh" disc was too small. Haven't tried the rest and more than likely wont until I can get a larger Gamecube game. So r= my results have changed to:

    Wind Waker (NTSC-U) - Working
    Cubivore (NTSC-U) - Working

I still need to add a user results section. Rest assured I will soon and I'll add your results.

I figured out what was wrong. The original Gamecube games I was using were smaller than the games I was trying to load. Used the GCMUtility to shrink Zelda and it worked first try after that. Didn't try StarFox Adventures or Star Wars RS II yet because I think they are still too large even after "trimming".

Any idea what the largest Gamecube game is? I remember having this issue years ago with the PS2 and SwapMagic, lol.

I honestly couldn't tell you because I don't scrub my games. I use the full 1.4GB image like emu_kidid said to. I usually don't go against the devs suggestions of how to make it work.

What game do you have in your Wii/Gamecube when you use Swiss? Because using Resident Evil 2 or 3 won't load any unscrubbed games that I've tried...which is why I asked about a larger disc to use. Without a larger game I have to scrub things to get them to work - and then a good number still don't work because they are still larger than the RE games.

It's irrelevant. I believe it is just using the boot sector of the retail discs so size is of the game doesn't matter. And disc will work to boot it. I'm personally using Winnie the Pooh's Rumbly Tumbly Adventure. LOL

I'm sorry if any of the pictures disappear from my guides soon but it will only be temporarily if it happens. I use so many photos they eat up a lot of bandwidth so I need host them via a Photobucket Pro account which expires today. Unfortunately I also had to cancel my debit card today so I can't renew until the new one arrives in 5-7 days. Hopefully there is enough free bandwidth to hold me over until then but just in case this is fair warning. If they disappear they will be back up soon...I swear! Sorry for the inconvenience.

Any idea then, why Zelda would only black-screen unless I used a scrubbed version? I tried several times and the same thing. Only works when scrubbed. Odd.

Edit: Star Fox Adventures - Works (Garbled audio/music/voices)

Windwaker won't work for me scrubbed or not. I'm on swiss r33 and the latest cmios (19 I think?), pre-patched and booting off of Super Mario Sunshine. What are you doing differently?
Are you plagued with D3-2? http://www.wiidrives.com/list
