Tried all that and it is partitioned the same way I partitioned my friends. Just to mess with it I hooked up my friends hdd to my wii and opened MC. Everything worked perfect. So the hdd that I have is good for usb loader and everything else but bad for MC. Funny thing though is that when I used my friends hdd on my wii in MC my remote worked great untell I left MC and my remote wasn't synced to my wii anymore lol. It auto synced itself to my friends wii. Thought it was great stuff.

I have to do this to 'spin up' the drive I use as some drives idle or 'sleep' when not accessed for a while and MC seems to lack a USB init module.
Saves me from 'I can't get title list -1' errors
    (using 249[38]v17)
Thanks for the help and I will keep trying different things but I try going into MC right after I turn on the wii so we will see.

    Hum

I think I'm going to give this a go. I had got a system memory full quite some time ago. I know
that you can launch your sd games off the sd menu, but after looking at the Q&A below from might channels

Q:If you can load games of SD card via SD menu why would i use this?
A:When you load the vc/wiiware like that the games have to be installed
to your nand everytime you launch them so it wears out while if you use
Mighty Channels your are using your SD or USB and causes no harm to your wii.

    and as triiforce says below

Triiforce is a Homebrew application that allows you to run WiiWare off of an emulated NAND backup of your Wii.

So why not just install a Wii Ware wad and move it to the SD card and run it from there? Well apparently, before the Wii can run it, it copies it to the Wii's NAND and runs it which is even worse than installing it directly to the NAND due to it writing it every time you load the Wii Ware game. Also, adding or removing multiple WiiWare games is done in a few seconds.

Another advantage to running Triiforce is that you can exceed the 512MB storage limit that the Wii has. Some Wii Ware wad files are close to 50MB and can quickly eat up your Wii's storage space preventing you from saving games.

There are other advantages as well beyond saving wii-NAND space. You will be able to add cheat codes to your games and you will be able to run your games in other wii consoles.

Which one would be better for my needs. Me myself I like the "Latest and Greatest" I guess you could say, and from what I read it seems like mighty channels is a newer triiforce or newer than triiforce so I'm thinking that mighty channels is the latest out. Latest always doesnt mean best though.Any suggestions on what would be better for my needs. I want to keep my 249[57]-21 if I could, so would I be able to install rev 17 into another slot?? for what I read it seems like these below can be my choices

    249[38]v21
    249[36]v21
    249[38]v17

I'd like to keep 249[57]-21 if I could so can I install base 38 like 247[38]17?? Still get base 38 rev 17 into slot 247?

Also On the guide it says this

"For Mighty Channels to work best you need cIOS38rev17 installed.
It can be in ANY slot as long as you use arguments in your meta.xml ios=250,245,215,209 etc "

can cIOS38rev21 & cIOS36rev21 be installed in any slot as well?? Or is that just for cIOS38rev17??

Other than that any suggestions on what I should/could do next?? Heres my system check below if you guys
want to advise/suggest/direct anything. Thanks for all the help.

    Spoiler

I say to go with the guide... use cIOS38rev17.
With my testings [38]rev21 and [36]rev21 works too, but not as stable and not as compatible as [38]rev17.
You can keep your 249[57]-v21 and install rev17 in another slot. I see that you have slots 247, 248 and 250 used (with rev19 maybe?). If you want to keep those too, you can install in slot 246 or 251. To do that you need to download rev17 as a WAD and change the installation slot with ShowMiiWads to whatever slot you want.

can cIOS38rev21 & cIOS36rev21 be installed in any slot as well?? Or is that just for cIOS38rev17??
Yes. You can choose that directly in the installer (maybe you want to use those 247/248/250 slots you have with old revisions).

    Here are my slots:
    246[38]-v17
    247[37]-v21
    248[38]-v21
    249[57]-v21
    250[56]-v21
    251[58]-v21
I keep them just for testing purpose. I really use 249[57]-v21 for most games and 250[56]-v21 for some problematic games that don't like [57], and 246[38]-v17 for MightyChannels.

I'm having trouble setting up the Mighty Channels forwarder. I have everything working if I launch MC via HBC, however when I try to run it from the MC forwarder channel that I installed I get an error stating "I can't get title list".

edit: I managed to get it to work, but now everytime after I exit a game, I have to disconnect and reconnect my USB HDD otherwise I will get the "I can't get title list" error. wtf?

    Easy Peasy. Thanks Cile.

    Edit:

Another quick question Cile. When I was loading mighty channels from the HBC
it would still say 249 v21 in the lower left hand corner. I had installed cIOS246[38]-v17 and wanted to use that. I edited my meta.xml but still it would still load 249 v21 from hbc. I actually tested all the wiiware games I had like that and they did work with 249 v21 from mighty launched from the hbc. Anyway does it not read the meta.xml arguments in HBC?? When I installed your forwarder it worked fine and read my 246 v17 in the bottom left corner. Just wondering if I'm missing something here or if the meta.xml wasnt/isnt supported in hbc? Either way seems like everythings working fine now and the forwarder is reading my 246 v17. Just not sure why it wouldn't read 246 v17 when launched from the hbc, or did that have something to do with the forwarders that support meta.xml?? Other than that everything else seems fine so I should be good to go. Great guide and nice forwarder.

P.S. Cile is there any difference between your forwarder and the Mighty Channels Forwarder v2 by Comfaithgenesisraven?? I installed yours and it works great. Does the v2 mean that its newer, or does that just mean like its the first version, second version etc etc. Didn't if one was newer than the other. Got confused with the v1, v2 titles on the forwarders. Other than that everything else seems great. Thanks again man.

When the error windows comes up, does it have a button near the bottom that allows you to "view problem details"?

Sorry for needing the hand holding, I really do appreciate the help, and if I should be posting this somewhere else, please let me know and I'll post there.

I take it from this, I should be looking for cIOS250[38]-v21.wad, but I am only able to find v17, v19, and v20. Am I missing something?
