I basically copied your setup. I installed the same 5 bases. I used the latest d2x installer (v1.2) to get v5 of all the bases.
Then I swapped the Mighty Channels dol of v11.0 for the latest version v11.1.
I adjusted my meta.xml to look like yours and then i fired up my wii.
I ran MC from HBC and it couldn't find the titles and I tried running MC from the channel on the wii menu screen with the same result.
Then I changed the partition in the meta.xml to 1 (instead of 0) and tried again.
To my surprise and delight it worked - games were finally listed both from HBC and from the channel on the wii menu screen.
What a project this has been. Thanks everyone for being so helpful and not giving up on me. I hope my account will help others.
And a BIG THANKYOU for mentioning WiiXplorer. That made things a lot easier - not having to keep taking out my sd card and putting it into my PC.
What a cool piece of wii homebrew that is!
what will be my next wii challlenge?
well, i got a wiiware game that won't run, what forum should i use to help me find the solution?

what will be my next wii challlenge? i spoke too soon...
well, i got a wiiware game that won't run, i assume it is something to do with the cios it needs.
Well since I got all five of the ones you listed why doesn't it work?
It is castlevania rebirth and i have tried many different settings in the Might Channels software - including apploader and choosng different screen settings, with no success. The Konami logo appears (after the wrist strap warning) followed by a permanent black screen.
I see there exists a thread or 2 about getting this game to work but i was wondering about these 5 cIOS's. I choose base 55 in slot 240 (like you) in the meta.xml but does one perhaps change it to make a game work? or once the cIOS's are installed then it should not matter?
any advise on this, anyone?

My next question is I can not get the forwarders to work they are installed ( I have tried both) using wad manager and when I open them in system menu the wii just reloads, I have probably missed something simple bu cant figure it out. Two total noob questions:
1. The mighty channels file I downloaded is a wad file, am I supposed to extract and install to the e-nand like the VC wad files?
2. I'm currently using 4.3U with version 248 ios. When I go to install ios versions using the D2X 1.1 app it only lets me install 236 ios. All other attempts result in a bad hash error message. Anyone know what the problem might be?
I was able to add the titles to my e-nand on a USB hdd but so far am stuck on installing the mighty channels app and the proper ios to run the VC games. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
