Hey Can i have some help please.
A few months back i updated my old softmod.
Now for a reason i am not sure of my wii is acting up and always asks for disc updates, games via normal loader ask for updates and must then be loaded by neogamma which sometimes fails and reports errors.
I used mauifrogs guide to update my wii back in august/september

    Heres a Syscheck.
Extra info my wii is Softmodded on 4.1E
Im on the d2x mod, the one prior to 23/08/2011, i think it was v7
    - i dont think i have priiloader installed

    Spoiler

Thanks for all your help in advance.

push and hold the reset button when you power on the wii.. hold reset for 5-8 seconds. priiloader should load if you have it.

    thanks for a reply,

Nope i do not have priiloader, however i do remember installing start patch as back then priiloader wasnt as safe.

What do you recommend me to do?
    -Just install Priiloader
-Remove start patch checks and install priloader (bearing in mind i do not know which start patches i have installed)

Also another problem has occured from this, my wii doesnt read any titles ive purchased from the channel and moved to the sd, it just shows the SD as empty. But when i use HBC the sd has all my homebrew apps.

    Thanks in advance

uninstall startpatch and install priiloader. If you are not sure which hacks you have installed just select to uninstall each one to be safe.

If your softmod is that out of date, I suggest you follow Softmod ANY Wii. Make sure you uninstall StartPatch first though.

To boot up your Wii you just need the IOS that the System Menu runs on (for 4.2, that is IOS70). However, you should never delete an IOS below 200 because it won't benefit you at all (anything that uses the deleted IOS will refuse to run) and if you make a mistake it could cause a full brick.

If you are talking about the wad files however, you can delete them from your Wii. Just don't uninstall them.

thanks for your help, i didn't get it though.
i got a pal wii and i installed korean ios's i don't need: 41,43,45,46 and 48. i also installed ios's for SM 4.0 or lower (like ios9- 64- v1034 etc...) my wii got 4.2. it happened to me because i'm a noob and i downloaded and install the complete package and then i realized i should only update certain ios's, but it was to late. my wii is working fine so far (i'm playing kirby's return to dreamland) but still, i want to know if my wii is ok and i didn't damage it by installing those ios's. and if i did something wrong if there is a way to fix it?
    i really appreciate your help.

It wont hurt anything to just leave it be. Could be more dangerous trying to remove them. Just like Joostin said, if you make a mistake you could be out a Wii...
