Let me think here: "no patches" and does this mean does it need patched. Hmmm....

I foolishly trusted the banner at the top of the page on WiiBrew that said

"WiiBrew recommends that you run the latest version of the HackMii Installer and then optionally update your Wii to 4.3 using Nintendo's official updater."

So I did. All went well until I tried to run USB Loader Gx and it tells me to stop being silly and get IOS222 or 249 installed. After a quick search I founf this thread and having followed it, it seemed to work perfectly as described above. However I still cant seem to do anything that needs 222 or 249. I've added them from the sd card which I created above but once I try a Loader GX it's the same. I even tried to install WiiFlow and it just black screens when I try to load the app in Homebrew.

My old version of ULOADER seems to work on my ISO's (I haven't tried all of them of course just a selection).

I seem to be in a sort of limbo between being stuck in 4.3 and it half working. I'm sure this will make sense to someone, just not me.

My wii is an original launch day white UK version and I've had no trouble on it on 4.2 until I upgraded today.

Can anyone help? Just a gentle pointer would be nice. Can I still downgrade back to 4.2 or 4.1 even without bricking it? I do have a NAND backup from just before my original bootmii install.

    Thanks

Yes you can softmod and downgrade following the 4.3 softmod guide. Have a look at the guide. Make a post in the introduction section if you want links.

Question Re: error when downgrading IOS36

Hi I am having a problem downgrading to IOS15! I get an error. Krank as I was reading your guide I am not even sure I should be doing this? What I mean is I successfully soft modded my wii using dogeggs tutorial. My son was messing with the wii and for some silly reason deleted all the wii channels from the tutorial i.e: Homebrew, shopping channel, etc. (the channels that load backed up games and etc.) Also my sd was erased. I did a nand backup originally on my computer so I am a little lost. I figured I'd just redo dogeggs tutorial and when I got to the point of downgrading IOS15 it failed and received errors. So at this point I am lost. I don't know if I should just keep redoing dogeggs tutorial and use your guide for the errors or stop and do something else. Could you please point me in the right direction? Thanks so much for your help!
