    Cannot downgrade to iso15

When i use dopmii, when i try to install ios36 with the fake sign, it says no ios's are usable to downgrade. When i try to use trucha bug restorer and downgrade to ios15 it can find all the wad files because i used NUSD, but it says it can't downgrade and suggests i use an updated downgrader. Everything i look up doesn't work

    I have v4.2U

Also when i use wad manager, it just freezes and disconnects wiimotes. I've used it before and it worked but this just recently happened

Well you should follow the softmod any wii guide by mauifrog. It will fix all of your issues (also the 4.3 method in this thread will work for you, but you don't need to do that....follow the softmod any wii guide).
    Damn I suck!!!!

If you read the guide it answers that question. Yes you can follow it even if you have some of the things already installed. Do every step except darkcorp.

    Question

First time poster here and also first time softmodder so please be gentle.
I've followed the softmod guide on wiihacks for a 4.2e console and have installed the Homebrew Channel and BootMii (as an IOS as that was the only option)

I have not been able to backup the nand as I don't have a GC controller.

When going into Multi-Mod Manager to install IOS36 I get the ESAddTitle ((-2011) error which I gather seems to indicate I need to downgrade the IOS to a patchable one such as IOS15.

Going into DOP-Mii I found an option to Install IOS36 which seemed to work as it prompted me to install a few different IOS15 and IOS36 versions and downloaded them to load into memory and then mentioned that IOS36 loaded successfully.

I then proceeded to follow the guide but when I got to installing the WADS via WAD Manager in MMM it comes up with a failure to install any of them with a -2011 error which I gather relates back to the IOS.

    A few questions:

I noticed this in the first post
    • If you already have a cIOS or patched IOS you don't need to do this*

Does that mean I cannot use this guide as BootMii is installed as an IOS or will it be ok?

Is there any reason why the steps I tried in DOP-Mii didn't work and will they have any effect on what I am doing?

Once this IOS is installed I gather this will rectify the errors I listed installing WADs "

Sorry if this has been asked before but after searching the forums I thought I'd ask to make sure I'm on the right path/doing the right thing.

Thankyou in advance for any help you can provide

Which guide is that? Normally, we recommend you ask within the guide you're attempting to follow (there's four guides here that cover this version -- mauifrog's ANY Wii guide, Shadow Sonic's guide, Cile's guide, and Messie's guide).

As a first-time poster, it is asked that you
    Introduce Yourself

If you get 2011 you aren't following the guide right. Load MMM from bootmii as the guide says and try option 1 or 2.

Does that mean I cannot use this guide as BootMii is installed as an IOS or will it be ok?
No it means if you have an IOS with the trucha bug then you don't need to do this. You can check by running syscheck.
    Damn I suck!!!!
