I can see the benefits of having a all fat32 drive as getting partitions right for a wbfs partition can be a pain. but ive got 300+ wii titles set up the old way with 2 partitions, 1 in fat32 and 1 in wbfs.

It was explained to me initially that i would have to get those ISOs and run them thru wiiscrubber and convert to new format, just too much of a hassle with so many games. have you a similiar set up yet better solution as i would be quite greatful if u would share.

id love to use a format that my PC can interact with the entire drive but dunno really how to do it other than 1 at a time through the various applications and with 350 or so games thats too much time
There is no need to use WiiScrubber, the procedure is simple but will take several hours with that many titles (I have a similar amount of titles on a 1TB drive). It is, however, a bit off-topic as this Guide details a specific setup, and I don't want to confuse things even more by discussing alternate setups

It is very strange that the script doesn't seem to see the CustomizeMii screen when it appears.

If you like I'll knock up a mini debug version for you, to see if we can figure out why.

I have not had to use any compatibility settings etc. with any version, it just runs.

Okay I have fully tested the guide in a few different ways. Thanks to Emuhack for the guide and Poida for Wad2ISO!

First -- I already had Triiforce set up and had my extracted NAND folders already on my fat32 partition. I left them there and did not touch them.(Already had all my wiiware games extracted to the NAND)
So I started at step 5. I ran wad2ISO as Admin and created 2 ISO forwarders (Art of balance and World of Goo). With Step 5 Complete I moved on and completed step 6 copying the NANDGAMES folder to my fat32 partition along with installing the ISO with WBFS manager. Plugged in my drive, launched CFG v57 and started both games with no issues(they take a while to load but that is not an problem for me and is to be expected).

Second -- Made a fresh NAND dump with bootmii -- Followed the entire guide (after backing up and deleting everything from my first go). Had the same results. Worked perfectly.

    Third
-- Starting fresh again -- Instead of doing STEP one. I used Showmiiwads and selected "tools" then "extract bootmii dump" , then selected "NAND.bin" (from bootmii) and It will output the necessary folders into the same directory as your NAND.bin.

I used Wad2ISO v3.3 -- I did not update when it asked me to. I would be willing to test with 3.4 if it would help at all. Thanks to everyone involved. I'm not sure where the issue is but it worked for me.
    Damn I suck!!!!

Thanks Krank, Please do try v3.4 to see if that also works for you.

The "long wait" is just because Triiforce still runs through all the load-up screens, but does it silently when you pass it's settings in-line, so all you see is a black screen. That's programmed into the original Triiforce code and can't be changed (easily)

Most will find that Wad2ISO just works.

Because it is just a script that watches for specific windows and then reacts accordingly, sometimes (perhaps due to a background process, UAC settings or probably numerous other things that I've yet to discover), focus might be stolen from the script and it stalls or misses on clicking a button.

/EDIT - v4.0 no longer uses CustomizeMii, Partition Builder or WiiScrubber and does not need to wait for specific windows / prompts from other programs.

So far, I have managed to find alternate methods for the script as these issues arise, but I guess I'll just have to accept that, for some, it simply won't work

    Input

I have found that, on my computer, normally Wad2Iso will not properly click something after it opens up Wiiscrubber and deletes a partition. I am using Windows 7 32-bit edition. Disabling UAC control and restarting does not fix this. Booting into safe mode however does allow the entire operation to finish without a single problem. I have used this method to successfully create all my forwarding ISOs. I do not understand why this works, but I am posting this hoping that someone will benefit from my experience.

yo to anyone out there i had trouble with wad2ISO on win7 and running the app in windows XP compatability mode (right click the shortcut of app and look for options) cleared up all the problems for me in 3.3 and 3.4 versions of wad2ISO

    so.... try that
