    Please help....

I've followed the steps, trying to change my Wii into a japanese Wii,however, when I get to:

Go down to "Install System Menu 4.1" -Press A
"Are you want to again save?" -Select YES, press A
"Are you sure you want to install System Menu 4.1" -Select YES, press A
Ios31 installs (for RgnSel & EULA)
Ios60 installs- select YES to patch with trucha bug and ES_Identify patches
    Select #2 to use Waninkoko's version .
    SM 4.1 installs

    I can't seem to find the IOS31 and 60.

I didn't set up a Wi Fi connection, so I cannot download it via the Wii.

However, the Wii is partly region changed, and I cannot access the Wii settings.

Would there be any download links available to obtain IOS31 & IOS60 ??

    Weird problem

I had a 4.3E WII that needed to be soft modded and converted to US version. I followed your guide step by step and I was able to mod it and my current version shows as 4.1U

I have a weird problem. For some reason the HBC menu is upside down - everything else is fine. Even the games play fine. It is just the HBC menu that displays incorrectly. Any help will be appreciated.

Please reinstall HBC - it should work fine.

    Hi Beerfield

Thanks for the response. In order to reinstall HBC, I was thinking of the following steps:
    1. Back up my current SD card.
    2. Format card
    3. Go back to your guide to reinstall HBC.
    4. Format SD card.
    5. Restore back as per step (1) above.

Just want to be sure that I will not have to go through the steps of soft modding it again?

    TMD error?

I follow all of the steps in the tutorial but my wii freezes right when it downloads a file called "TMD", I was forced to pull the plug and now my wii is part in japanese. It will not play regular discs anymore, and when I got to the system menu got gives me this "server not found" webpage but luckily I still have prilloader installed. Would be appreciative if someone will respond asap.

Download wiimod, load it from priiloader
    Download the priiloader installer

OK, load priiloader and launch the wiimod boot.dol via priiloader's load/install menu
Reload wiimod to some ios with patches, like ios236
Pick your region you wish to have
In wiimod install the system menu 4.1 for the region you like
Install region select and elua channel for the region you like
Then go to the advanced menu, region settings and ensure that your region settings match the system menu you installed
Than go to the app loader in wiimod and launch the priiloader 0.7 installer (you will need to have ios36 installed and patched, so you may wish to do that via wiimod also)

If you load HBC from priiloader you can load wiimod and priiloader installer via HBC and use AHBPROT instead of patched ios36 / 236.

At the moment your wii is semi bricked, so you simply need to install the proper system menu to match your region settings. This can be done via NUS if the wii is online. If the wii is offline you will need the wads from NUS on your sd card.

I have a Korean 4.3K. I softmodded using your tutorial on this site.

Can I use this tutorial to change the region (to US) AND the system menu language (From Korean to English)?

If so, I understand that this tutorial converts to 4.1u. In your "brick warning" tutorial, you warn that converted Korean Wiis should never be updated. Does this mean that I will be stuck on 4.1u forever?
