What is cIOS? I understand you need it for the backup loader. After you install it can you return to the original wii settings? If so... how?

You install it as a .wad, it is just custom firmware the Wii settings are still the same man. Just install it if you can and run the backup loader

My question is, what is the homebrew I should be using? Is it that "Wiigator's Backup Launcher"? is that the homebrew?

And is that all I'll need to do from now on once I get the homebrew installed is just pop in my game backups, select the homebrew icon and go to it?

I'm so confused. I've had a ps2 for so long I don't know the first thing about the Wii hacks yet.

Sorry for being such a "noob"!

homebrew is found in the download section and the zip file is called Homebrew_channel_beta9.zip. extract that and put it in the SD card. That is step 2 in the detailed guide http://www.wiihacks.com/homebrew/457...ers-guide.html

is your wii on the new 3.3 update? got a modchip?

    Hope this helps.

I'm going to attempt a translation.

Well, does it mean that I have cIOS36, at least? I want to find a way to back up games to my PC other than an LG driver. Something such as an SD program. I'm looking for an app that works with Beta 9.
