If it's black screen try this http://www.wiihacks.com/recommended-...s-use-run.html

Not giving pertinent information a sure fire way to have your question ignored.

I keep getting no vulnerable ios when I try to install HBC. I downloaded and Formated my SD card to FAT32 and copied the files from the zip file but I still keep getting the same error. Is there some thing else I can try??

I originaly setup with IOS249v865280 but the first thing I see to do is Step A: Replacement of Cioscorps cios34 with IOS34-64-v3087.wad. So does it matter was IOS you used to setup?? Or is it all pretty much the same as long as there's an IOS?? I' a little confused

I'm confused why you asked that question here. Go to the guide you are following and ask there.

I am new to Wii and to this site. I bought my Wii 5 days ago (first time ever using one). I wanted my Wii to play dvd's and found several videos online... I followed the directions of the video on how to install HBC and I followed it and I installed the DVDx. It wasn't very explainitory, I did get the HBC installed and updated to 1.0.6 but there are no applications. Dvd's won't play either. Did I do something wrong? I was reading in these forums and I haven't found one simular to mine (using the search feature).

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thank you in advance,
    Lisa Marie

Some leave it on, some don't. You can block updates by disc or internet with Priiloader, it's one (or two) of the hacks available to you.
