its better if you dont update, theres no reason to
I installed my HBC the old school way from the hackmii website when they provided the HBC ISO dvd for download awhile back. I load my apps from my SD card as per usual. My HBC version right now is 1.0.6 which i think i must have updated it by downloading it to the SD card and so on....I honestly cant remember. lol
Anyway, my question is...
Should i install this Bootmii stuff and run a nand backup to be safe, or just leave it be? Should i update the wii system to 4.1 (avoiding 4.2). Am i missing key features?
My Wii system right now is 3.4U and i have a wiikey 1.9s
hi a friend of mine has just got a black wii for xmas can you load homebrew on them ?????
Not really doing much Wii stuff these days.
I have the homebrew app installed with bannerbomb etc. I have downloaded several games from torrent sites but do I put it in a folder on my sd card? If so which one? Or do I put it on the root of the sd card? I'm totally confused and still astounded that I got the homebrew to work
Ok i have a uk nintendo wii from 2006 and its never been modded ... i have just updated it to 4.2E... now my question is do i follow everything from the Full hacking guide for 4.2 system menus!!! guide???
Also this bit below has me confused
:>>Those who had previously (before the update) installed ios249 may have a chance to play backed up games easily. They should run cios38rev14 installer from Homebrew Channel and use ios250. if that does not work, try running it again, but using one of the following : ios202, ios222,ios223,ios249.Then you can proceed to D. If one of these does not work either, you should have to do the following:
i skip that bit and continue the guide i persume?
