I have home brew channel installed , loaded in some wads, but the screen comes up blank, says I can't play this channel. Any help would be great. thanks.
Ok first off more detail would be nice man, I assume you used the .wad installer to put them on the Wii. Other then that I need more detail, does it say .wad succesful then you go the the Wii menu and the channel isn't there or what?
after we installed this wad file and iso249 in advance installation, we can play the original game, but not the backup games. It said "ERROR UNIDENTIFYING DVD"
do you know what wrong with it???

What game are you trying to play?
I tried all difference backup games which works on my other friend's systems.
I have installed DVDx and Mplayer DVD version on the Homebrew channel exactly as you are supposed to. I have recently burned Iron Man at 4x and 2x on to a DVD. When I play the 4x speed recorded Iron Man it plays but lags a lot like it will play for 10 seconds then pause and lag and start up. has anyone else had this problem or any way to correct this. Also I tried palying it again with the 2x and for some reason it wouldn't even read or load that one, I don't know what's wrong. I have un-installed and reinstalled and that has not helped either, any help would be greatly appreciated
Are you sure it won't load, or are you just not giving it enough time to load. Sometimes it takes a while to load the movie.
Well fellas I'm fairly new to all this homebrew business but I think I can get my head around it. One question though, will the home brew work on version 3.3M?
Yes, homebrew works with anything I beileive. Do you know how to install it?
Well I've read a few walk throughs now and I think I have it sussed.
1: Back up old Zelda save file.
2: Extract both new Zelda save file and Homebrew Channel to SD card.
3: I should see "Private" and "Boot" file.
4: Then I insert it to the Wii and copy the save file to the Wii HDD.
5: Go on a mission and talk to the geezer then it should start installing.
How's that sound? o.O
