    homebrew problems

    Hi,

Ive done a lot of research on how to get the homebrew channel on my wii, i have all the files i need, or so i thought, when i load everything and do what im supposed to, it loads the hack screen. then has start cluster xxxx and just keeps repeating that, i let the wii run for 3 days at one point thinking it would finally "catch" but it never did, i DL a new set of files today, and am having the same problem, if someone could please help i would be most grateful!

sounds like an sd card problem - make sure it is formatted to fat32, if it is then try a different one...

make two folders on your sd card, one called 'apps' and one called 'wad', apps need to go inside their own folder in the apps folder and the .dol file renamed to boot.dol ie: sd/apps/(app name)/boot.dol, whilst wads are just placed in the wad folder as is. Click my sig for plenty of apps and wads, and have a look at wiibrew for lots more still...

ok i reformatted to fat32 just to make sure it was done properly, now the files that would originally start doing the infinite start cluster xxxx will just hang, doesnt do anything, if i use a different set of files, i get the infinite start clusters again. i have a 3.4 system, and have tried many different ways. if anyone has some advice or direction i would be forever in their debt. im about at wits end with this lol. please help

megg - ac toolkit is not a wii app!! it a pc thing...try something else...wii apps are usually three files in a folder boot.dol - icon.png - meta.xml , though only boot.dol is needed to run the app.
