Remeber if you are on 3.4, you have to use the 3.4 twiglight hack file.

Whats the difference between copying files onto the sd card and placing them into the root directory of it ( ie for homebrew)

when you first open your SD card, THAT is the "root". Basically it is the "start" of your card without going into any subfolders.
To put a file in there, just open up your SD card and drag a file into it.....thats it!

As system error has said the root is what pops up when you open the card. Things such as roms and whatnot go into subfolders within root folder.s

Is it the correct version of the Twilight Hack for your firmware?

Ok, so I've just gotten the homebrew channel and I've gotten a Wii Backup Launcher app on there but I'm not sure what I have to do to run DVD's on it. My Wii is version 3.4. I've burned Wii Music on a DVD just to see what would happen and when I try to launch the game it says "Error - no cIOS". I'm not sure what that means so I was hoping you could help me out. Thanks!

Firmware Version 3.4 and Homebrew
I recently found out that Homebrew can be installed on a Wii that has gotten a 3.4 update. That's great, but I am not sure if I can get the Twilight Hack to work. Here's my situation:
1. I have an NTSC Wii running firmware version 3.4u
2. I have a D2Pro9 modchip and USB programmer installed
3. I DO NOT have any type of homebrew or HBC on my Wii
Will the Hack work?
