Ok, go into the homebrew channel.

run the cIOS installer. Make sure you have a WiFi connection.

When that's done, run the ISO loader.

Alright, so here is where I stand.

I have a Wiikey, and I want to play Animal Crossing.

So I'm going to use the Twilight hack tomorrow.
Once I have the homebrew channel, how would I go about getting an app to play backups?
I've read stuff about WAD but i have no idea what that is.
I'm entirely lost on what to do AFTER i get HBC.

First of all, you have a modchip, so you can play backups already, second, use this site to install the HBC. Read about it online and find out what it does.

Yeah, but when I play Animal Crossing it just goes to a black screen. People have told me I need to load it using Gecko OS.

The .wad manager is a seperate application. It goes into the apps. folder.

Ok, you only need the WAD MANAGER, the cIOS, and the loader.

    1. Download THIS FILE and put it in the WAD folder.

    2. Put the WAD manager and the Backup Loader folders into your APPS folder.

    3. MAKE SURE YOU RENAME THE .DOL FILES TO BOOT.DOL.

    4. Put the card into your Wii and run the HomeBrew Channel.

    5. Open the WAD Manager and install cIOS249-IOS36-rev07 (press + when it is selected).

    6. Now you can run the loader.

Again, MAKE SURE THE .dol FILES ARE NAMED boot.dol!
