Seems straightforwarded guide... But FAT/NTFS doesnt work for me. Kept asking me to check if I have wbfs_file.exe in the 3rdparty app folder.
I redownloaded the Crap3.3b few times with SAME results.
HDD parition into FAT for loader/apps and NTFS1 for WBFS games.
Crap will not let me load WBFS games. I tried the offical site but there's no forums there.
The WBFS_file.exe should be in the 3rd party app folder. If not download it and put it in there.
Read the note about changing the drop down box from .iso to .wbfs so you can see your .wbfs files.
Damn I suck!!!!
Of course it is there. I downloaded from your link and overwrite the other one. Still same error msg that it cant open WBFS files and please check my 3rd party apps.
I am running Windows 7 64bit.
I put the crap3.3b into c:\Crap
everything is in that folder.
I tried to load WBFS via two methods. One your method click the box and then change to wbfs and choose the file. 2nd method, other box "open WBFS drive", it loads my drive and games OK but when I select one, it gave me error msg about wbfs_file.exe
EDIT: Well I had to convert wbfs files back into ISO which takes few minutes each game. Not too bad. Then it works, ISO can be opened easily and I just selected my USB loader and the game parititon and create wad. Then when I installed it on the Wii it's perfect and takes only 8 blocks. The banner's perfect, I dont have to create any images or whatsover.

Didn't have a chance to read all this, but it sounds really cool. I'm sure its a nice read.
I might do this in the future, though atm theres plenty out there to keep me busy.
Hello, thanks for the tut, it worked great! I do have a question how ever.... is it possible to have applications within homebrew added to your wii page?
Example, i'd love to have my nes, snes, n64 and homebrew buttons on my wii page to avoid wasting time having to load home brew ever time. I use usb-hdd, even my back up classics games are usb-hdd.
any kind of direction would be so helpful
Yes search for forwarder channels for the apps you wish to have appear on your wii menu.
(this tut is for making forwarders for your USB games, not apps)
Damn I suck!!!!
Is the discussion about GX referring to 2.0 or older? I had no problems before with r938, but updated to GX to 2.0 and converted to fat and have had no luck using crap 3.3 to create forward channels now. I have no problems using others in crap, it's just a no go now with GX.
