How To Create A Forwarder Channel

This will teach you how to make your own .dol for a fowarder channel. The .dol created in this tutorial can later be used to make a channel with WADder that will boot a .dol file on your sd card.

NOTE: This does not create a .dol for an app, it creates an executable (dol) which executes a .dol in the specified location. So if you plan on using this, you'll need .dol for the app.

    First download and unzip this:
    DOL_Forwarder_Creator_Alpha_Release.rar

In the "PUT_bin_&_name.txt_IN_HERE" folder create a text file with notepad called "name.txt" in the first line of this text file, enter the name of the folder name of the app you want the fowarder to link to. For example if I want the fowarder to load .dol in my mplayer_ce folder on my SD Card. I would enter mplayer_ce. Make sure to save the text file once the name is entered.

Make sure to count how many characters were entered in the text (spaces Count!). Next open the 'bin' folder and copy the .bin file corresponding to the number of characters.E.g mplayer_ce is 10 characters so I would need the 10.bin

Copy the .bin file into the "PUT_bin_&_name.txt_IN_HERE" with the name.txt. The folder should look like this:

    Now open the LUAPlayerWin.exe.

    Now click 'select lua file...'

Browse for 'script.lua' which should be in the same folder.

    Now select 'Launch LuaPlayer'

It should ask you how many characters your folder is. Use the keyboard arrows to select and press C once done.

You should then get something like this:

You should now have a boot.dol file in the place bin and name.txt folder.

Use this .dol to create your fowarder channel with Wadder using this tutorial by dogeggs

    This channel should foward to:
    SD:\apps\name_in_name.txt\boot.dol

    Try installing this:
    http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en

Then reboot after a successful install and try again

There is a folder called PUT_bin_&_name.txt_IN_HERE

Make sure that you have a .txt file called name in there. If your OS hides extensions it would appear as name but if it doesn't you would see it as name.txt
