    Install latest Priiloader 0.5 rev99

    This is how to install the latest version of Priiloader.

    Official Priiloader 0.5 has been released, for details see here, http://www.wiihacks.com/wii-news/660...-released.html, for this release no patched ios is required.
    Requirement, install HBC1.0.8, then install IOS58 http://wiibrew.org/w/images/3/32/Ios58-installer.zip
    If you are on 4.3 no need to install IOS58, you will have it.

    Previous version is now 0.4 (rev78). download here,Priiloader_v0_4.zip - priiloader - Priiloader 0.4 (rev78) - Project Hosting on Google Code

    0.4 (rev78) version works fine, but you have to use Launch title to exit to the new HBC 0.7/0.8,

    This assumes you have Priiloader already installed, if not use this.
    http://www.wiihacks.com/submit-artic...4-2u-4-2e.html

    Extract files.
    Delete previous installed Priiloader Folder.
    Copy directory Priiloader, to SD\apps

    Insert SD card into wii poweron, goto HBC, select Priiloader,.

    To install using patched IOS36, hold B and press +.
    if using IOS58 press +
    Done

    To check, Power off Wii.
    Hold reset and poweron, when Priiloader screen appears, release reset.
    select settings,
    Autoboot = system menu
    Retrun = system menu.

    Save settings.

    Exit to Sytem menu, if OK, poweroff, re-enter priiloader
    check you can exit to HBC.

    When you are satisfied all is working, you can then set the installed file and return to that of your choice.
    My personal selection is

    installed file = USB loader GX (.dol in root of SD)
    autoboot= installed file
    Return = autoboot.
    This keeps the Wii in USB Loader, the only way out is power off, go into priiloader, either exit to system menu or HBC, or change settings.

    I have also tested the skip online update hack. This works, when (heaven forbid) you select system update it gives an internet error.
    Very useful if you have small people messing with your wii.

    If you are having problems installing, then see this guide.

    Download link doesn't work. Just get a 404 error. Could you re-upload it to MediaFire if you still have the files? Thanks.

    This is now no longer a Beta version, it is now released by Daco as R48.

    Many thanks for the heads up.

    Ca

    Can this newest version be installed without needing to install previous version first? Also this will be on a 4.1 system.

    Yes it can be, but

    install IOS60-patched.wad for 4.1

    install IOS70-patched.wad for 4.2

    Thank you WiiJohn. I didn't see anywhere else that it told me to hold reset while pressing power to enter the priiloader to enter the settings. You saved me a lot of time!

    installed file = USB loader GX (.dol in root of SD)
    autoboot= system menu
    Return = installed file

    will this work to power wii into system menu, and then after that (games starting to play) you press the home button and it returns you to usb loader?

    I don't think so. It will power up into system menu, but it doesn't leave it to return to anything.

    Best have autoboot to installed file, that will run GX on powerup.
    Then return = autoboot, means it wil go back into GX
    or Return = system menu,

    Just wanted to says thanks. I will try this tonight. I have been trying to get priiloader to work for about two weeks now. Everything is good except I can't get the System Menu. HBC works, Priiloader also. If I try to go to System Menu, I get a black screen with 4.2U in the lower right coner.

    I have 4.2U wii
    ios70 hacked, patched from messie's guide
    I just can't figure it out
    If I had the wrong .dol file in the root of the SD card would it cause this?
    Thanks.
