    This is how to install the latest version of Priiloader.
    It is now the official release by phpgeek & DacoTaco R48.

    This assumes you have Priiloader already installed, if not use this.
    http://www.wiihacks.com/submit-artic...4-2u-4-2e.html

    Download files, Priiloader 0.3b

    Extract files.
    Copy directory Priiloader_v0_3b, to SD\apps

    Insert SD card into wii poweron, goto HBC, select Priiloader,.

    To install using cIOS249, hold B and press +.
    Done

    To check, Power off Wii.
    Hold reset and poweron, when Priiloader screen appears, release reset.
    select settings,
    Autoboot = system menu
    Retrun = system menu.

    Save settings.

    Exit to Sytem menu, if OK, poweroff, re-enter priiloader
    check you can exit to HBC.

    When you are satisfied all is working, you can then set the installed file and return to that of your choice.
    My personal selection is

    installed file = USB loader GX (.dol in root of SD)
    autoboot= installed file
    Return = autoboot.
    This keeps the Wii in USB Loader, the only way out is power off, go into priiloader, either exit to system menu or HBC, or change settings.

    I have also tested the skip online update hack. This works, when (heaven forbid) you select system update it gives an internet error.
    Very useful if you have small people messing with your wii.
    Thanks WiiJohn, you tutorial worked great, it installed it so quick I thought I didn't even do it (but checked the version on priiloader to confirm) the only problem I am still having is using the forwarder dol, It installs no problem but when I choose installed file to autoboot and Return to autoboot, as directed by yourself ,when I power back on all I get is a black screen. Can't figure out why it will not load directly into loader GX. Any suggestions would be great. Think I tried everything. Have a 4.1u, softmodded. 3.1 to 4.1 for any wii guide taken from this site.

    Thanks

    bigj try installing wiiflow and setting autoboot to it. I have it on my 3&5 year old's wii and it's great. Leave a game and boots straight back to wiifow.

    Thanks the only think I am not a big fan of wiiflow is the trash can option... where they can delete a game right off the hard drive with a click of a button.. tried removing it permantely but couldn't get it going, other then that wiiflow is so much more superior in my eyes.

    I agree with what you are saying. That is why I have 2 wii's. One for them and one for me. My drive has all games on it, and if they delete any i just put it back on theirs. Wiiflow is missing the non delete component.

    I only have the one wii but maybe I will pick up another 500g hd and have there games on that drive also as a backup, and use wiiflow. Thanks for the suggestion.

    It is worth it, 500gb hd are not that dear. You need to think how much would 500gb of games really cost you?

    Why mess with Wiiflow, and extra hard drives. GX works fine and is safe for kids. Make sure its the forwarder .dol you have in the root of the SD card.
    Also make sure the forwarder is working separately from autoboot.

    WiiJohn I am sure it is at the root of the SD card because when I go to install it is finds the file and installs it fine (no errors) but when it comes to working seperately from autoboot I am not too sure what you mean by that.

    Thanks

    What version are you running your wii on currenty, mines 4.1 also do you have your USB loader GX installed on your wii because mine just runs off the SD card and reads it from there.

    I think that is what your problem is.
    First my wii is 4.1E.
    There are three ways to install GX.
    From HBC
    a Forwarder
    or a channel.

    To use it for autoboot it needs to be installed as a forwarder. (looks like a channel on the main menu)
    If you goto the GX site you can download the latest.

    I have it install from the HBC aswell, but thats just for testing.

    That is probably why it doesn't work. I just boot USB loader GX directly off my SD card, I prefer to install as least as possible onto my wii (Great Brick Prevention) in my eyes.. I did mention that I was booting off my SD card in a eairler post in this thread but another great member thought that wouldn't matter. I have priiloader booting right to homebrew so the only app I have is Loader GX so the kids only have one extra click which in not a big deal it is just these little things that bug me until I figure it out.

    Thanks
