    Exactly

    You need to add wad files (wiiware and Vc titles) by using show me wads. Do a google about installing wads via showmiiwads...

    OK, correct me if I am wrong, (please bear with me as I am still a little new at Wii mods, the old XBox was the last console I did this for), but I take your response of "Exactly" as meaning that I was correct about both the file to get AND where to put it.

    Also, re: Showmiiwads, I have added wads with it. I placed the contents of the nand-extracteda folder (import, meta, shared1, shared2, sys, ticket, title, tmp, & wfs folders) onto my SD card. Is it just a matter of moving these folders to the root of my HDD? Or is there more to it than that?

    yes you get the file and put the file where you said

    After you copy your nand to usb drive you will need to edit your wiiflow.ini folder to reflect the new settings, if I remember correctly the pathe is backwards so under the nand section, click on path. Then change it to usb1:/ (I think, if not then it is usb1:\) or you can make it anything you like usb1:/nand/

    I tried usb1:/nand under my NAND section, but I am still getting the "Disc_SetUSB failed" I was earlier when I attempt to play disc-based games from the HDD; also, I am now getting a continual blue disc light on the Wii while it looks like WiiFlow is trying to load another game. At this point I do not even see the titles in my e-NAND that were dumped using Showmiiwads. Just so I am

    Here is my wiiflow.ini from the SD:\apps\wiiflow directory.

    Spoiler

    And here is the syscheck after installing the dx iso's.

    Spoiler

    Also, I have a nand folder on the root of my USB ext HDD (USB:\nand). In it are the import, meta, shared1,shared2, sys, ticket, title, tmp, wfs folders. This is correct, right? It is duplicated currently on my SD card (SD:\nand); is this duplication causing any conflict?

    OK, re-modded my Wii by using Mauifrog's "guide to softmod any Wii". I followed all the steps and was unable to run WiiFlow using the WiiflowR25_222 or WiiflowR25_249 in the Wiiflow Installer Package.rar until I replaced the boot.dol. I placed this in SD:\apps\Wiiflow with the most recent version, r416.dol which was renamed to boot.dol. Now I can play disc-based games loaded on the USB HDD. Also, I am finally able to play WiiWare/VC titles via WiiFlow.

    However, disc-based games, VC & WiiWare titles played via WiiFlow from a USB FAT32 HDD require a power cycle of the Wii when I exit them. I cannot get to the system menu otherwise. Also, many VC titles, Super Mario Bros. for example, can be heard, but I have a black screen until I hit the WiiMote home button, which obviously pauses the game. I also lose synch with the Wiimote for several seconds when I enter WiiFlow. Can anyone help with this? Thanks!

    I also lose sync with my wiimotes.
    I can not even play Super Mario via Emulated Nand due to what is reported as System Memory damaged. Dunno I can play it on normal nand.

    As far as powercycle. Go to wiiflow settings and make sure it says exit to system menu and then there is another section that says return to: and make that wiiflow or system menu.. That is when you are done playing a single game and want to play a new game where it sends you to. Exit to means when you hit exit on the wiiflow menu.

    WiiFlow v3.0 Alpha r417 Released

    Changelog-
    Compile with portlibs devkitPPC libogc r24 and 1.8.8
    * Move the stack up 8 bytes and align bss So after 32, so that. end is always
    aligned.
    * Fix finding of the main application in channels, there is not need for a second
    scan of the app files and checking for memcmp with a wad header if you get the
    info from the TMD correctly. This Eliminate the skip_bootcontent method and
    all nand games boot the same way.
    * Add a workaround for custom channels (forwarders) so that they use
    WII_LaunchTitle instead of the custom appldr.
    * Fix booting of injected vc.
    * Align everything going through ioctls and ioctlv nand for emu, to improve cache
    flushing.
    nand * Improve the emu mount / dismount and simplify it.
    * Rename everything to WiiTDB GameTDB, and change to the new URL's. This
    includes some fixes to the cover downloader and speeds it up A LOT. Instead of
    12 requests for each url missing cover, now it will be 2-3 at most. There are
    therefore no longer separate url's for channels and games. So renamed wiitdb any
    references in languages and themes to the gametdb counterpart, using the same
    case as it were before.
    * Some cleanup of wbfs initialization, removing some unneeded or unused
    parameters and variables.
    * Added sdhc.h and sdhc.c from CFG
    * Added support for playing games from SD with the same file system support as
    USB.
    * Added sorting by console type based on the id of the game. Use it by sorting
    By game ID and using b + up / down to cycle through the system.
    - Some new translations for this:
    custom = Custom
    commodore Commodore = 64
    = neogeo Neo-Geo
    NES = Nintendo
    SNES = Super Nintendo
    Sega master system = Master System
    Sega Genesis = Wii Channels Wii = Wii homebrew Homebrew = unknown = Unknown
    Lower priority mem2 size to send more shit to MEM2_alloc
    * Raise mem1 upper limit for the AppLoader 8 bytes.
    * Make downloader cheat work for WiiWare and VC
    * Delete menu 7, forgot last commit
    * Attempt at fixing case colors, still needs work, So titles may need some work
    since they seem to not be read or xml form custom_titles.ini sometimes.
    * Clarify the setting up of low memory in disc.c
    * Remove the parameters from the ios AppLoader, Disc_BootPartition, and
    Disc_WiiBoot.
    * Make question truly work for WBFS partitions.
    * Clean up some includes throughout.
    * Make all data pointers and parameters for channel launching use u8 * instead of
    u32 * to get rid of mass casting to pointer math.
    * A shit load more im sure, need to commit to sync to official SVN.

    I loaded this up, reloaded my forwarder and everything seemed to work fine until I tried to play Redsteel...now I get the health screen, a "Licensed by Nintendo" screen, then get kicked back to the Wiiflow screen with my games...I downloaded the WiiWTDB file and that didn't help. Any other ideas?

    Mortal Kombat: Armageddon is also a no go. I get to the screen that shows what controllers are playable, and then get a complete reboot to opening Wii screen where you have to push A to continue. Just to let the devs know. Other than those two, my other games play. It's nice playing Metroid Prime Trilogy again without having to switch in settings!

    Hey people!

    I have some wonderings, are there any way to expand the Wii internal memory or like... Playing Wii Ware/VC games through an External Harddrive? Right now I have them on a SD card, but it about to run out of space as well as I can't load the games from SD card on Wii Flow. I have heard about something you can use the normal Wii home screen spots, but actually using other source of space or something. All in all.. I just want to be able to load Wii Ware/VC games through my External Harddrive which is FAT32 format.
