Renaud4, this is what I did when I had a 3.4U System. You have to put the applications in the apps folder. They should have a folder for all of your applications. When you load the homebrew channel is should load the sd card. Then all the files boot or applications should be in there. I would suggest though to downgrade your wii to 3.2. More software works better on that then anything else. Then some programs I would suggest getting. Wad Mananger 1.3, Backup Launch .3 002 Gamma Fix, Your Emulators (Nes and Snes work great), Wii Dumper 1.2, and last but not least StarFall. Now starfall is a good program to not brick your wii by accidently updating it. You can take the update for the wii off when you put a real game in your wii that needs a higher FW than 3.2.

Exclamation Wii Help?

Hey I'm so sorry, but I'm not trying to be a burden and be a noob with all of my questions at all. it's just I'm not gonna sit here and lie about looking for shit because I suck at reading and finding things without glasses. I just wanted to know a few things. On the 4.0U Firmware, is Twilight Hack necessary and can we get the newest Homebrew Channel upd for the 4.0U firmware? I just read a few things on the net about it. And one other thing, I don't know what the tutorials are actually called but where are the tutorials if you just want to put apps on the Wii Menu (the boxes) and how can I play Wii backup iso's? Again, I'm not trying to be an annoying noob, I'm just asking nicely for someone's professional tutorials. If you decide not to help I understand your frustrations. thank you

Just a quick noob question;

I just placed my order for my drivekey3..and I was Just wondering if its safe to install the homebrew channel and some .wad files using this tutorial?

I'm currently on FW 4.1U.
And if I install the homebrew channel can I still continue to update my wii's FW? Or will there be a risk of bricking it? Or would the HBC just stop working?

Also my console is ntsc, can I still install Pal .wad files?

(Am I allowed to ask where to look for good .wad files?)

Hello, I have literally spent days now trying to load the Homebrew channel for a 3.4u wii. I have followed every step by step but I get lost because links take me to the homebrew page and do not specify what I need. What files need to be on my initial SD installation I know the twilight hack (Private (with .bin)) but what else? Is it the hackmii and if so do I put every folder in there? Do I need to downgrade to 3.2 or 3.3. Please help. Thank you
