So is there a working install ISO disc/zip anymore for modded wiis with 3.3u updated already?

COPIED FROM ABOVE
"Download the installer disc that corresponds to your region console:
* USA: [Only Registered Users Can See Links. Click Here To Register]
* Europe: [Only Registered Users Can See Links. Click Here To Register]
* Japan: [Only Registered Users Can See Links. Click Here To Register]

Extract the ISO file from the archive (tar.gz files can be opened in WinRAR). Using your favorite image burning software (I recommend ImgBurn), burn the disc to a DVD.

When it's done burning put the disc in your Wii and start it. When you see the disclaimer press the Reset button on your Wii to install it."

When you say to burn disk to dvd with Imgburn do you mean to write image file to disc, create image file from disc, verify disc, write files/folders to disc, create image file from files/folders or discovery.
I am asking this because i have tried a couple of the most obvious ones and I can not get the wii to install. Also shoulkd I be using a -RW DVD or just a -R DVD.
Thanks
Skelton

@darylcharm, make sure the wad you installed is the same region as your wii otherwise it will not work.

@skltom, It means burn the iso file to disc using ImgBurn at 4x speed. You can only use this method if you have a modchip and your wii is at 3.2 (or lower) firmware.

Thank you Jbloggs for your help.
I have used write image file to disc using Imgburn butmy wii , which has a D2SUN chip is saying unable to read disk, see manual for details.
I have burned 5 different DVds in diffrent was on Imgburn and i am getting the same result.
As for the firmware, how do I find out which version my wii has , I have just installed the D2SUN chip and my wii, I am prompted to update my wii system but it will not let me even though the wii is on line.
Any ideas or help will be very much appreciated as I am very new to this and it seems to be very complicated at the moment.
Thank you
Skelton.

What brand of media are you using? Maybe it's just low quality media. Will your Wii read any burned games or any other burned discs? If it won't read anything maybe you have a bad chip install. Did you solder it or use a clip?

To find out which firmware version you have, go into your Wii settings menu from the main menu and look in the upper right corner of the screen. It should say 3.2 or 3.3, depending on which version you have.

I have checked my firmware and it is the 3.3E version. Would I be correct in assuming that Homebrew can not be installed using this method. I think that is why the wii can not read the media disc for installing homebrew.
I have checked the media discs I am using and my back up games can be read.
If I need a 3.2E version firmwire to replace the 3.2E version i have please can someone explain to me how to do it? or would the twilight-hack metod work on my modchip wii?
Thanks
Skelton

If you are on 3.3E then no you can't use the DVDiso method to install homebrew but as long as you haven't taken the latest update 3.3 Rev2 that just came out a couple of days ago then you can still install homebrew channel using the TP hack method. Follow the instructions on the HBC guide
